That said part is that he only became what he did because his brother who was supposedly the pinical of justice was too blind and unjust to properly judge his own brother's true nature. A man who knew the world wasn't just purely black and white but multiple different shades- And despite this hard truth shaping him into his young life of crime, when his older brother came to him not only in his tome of need but arguable his lowest point in his young adult life and despite Chuck's prejudice he answers his call for help and that very moment inspire him to be like his brother- All Jimmy every wanted deep down was to help people, maybe with a little pizazz but he wanted to be a "hero" like his brother and when he tried his very best he eventually realized that his brother say his attempt as trying to reinvent himself as a "sick joke". This sad truth was inevitable as Chuck had quite the ego (Like Walter in Breaking Bad- And both men let their inner demons/anger get the better of them). Chuck wqs parshly right when he said people don't change but as lawyer he should know that the truth is that some people don't change and Jimmy unlike Chuck didn't hold someone's past against them unless the need to be held accountable like with Howard- Until like Chuck as Jimmy is a flawed human-being also took things to far. My point is this- Better Call Saul was initially a show that fans went into it with the mindset of wondering, waiting or hoping for the moment when Jimmy would "Become Saul" (Like how Walt became Heisenberg) to wondering or waiting or for the moment where Jimmy would hopefully previal over Saul. Walt became a villain because of his ego, Where as Jimmy also had a bit of self-pride with his showmanship but was trying his best to set aside his ego in order to become a better man and possibly gain a respected "seat at the table" but unfortunately no one at the table (So to speak) was willing enough to set aside their own pride or ego to properly respect him and neither a peer or an equal...

Without Saul, Jesse and Walter wouldn't ever meet in episode 1 of Breaking bad. It's from Saul's idea about Domingo to be part of Hank's plan from the begining. Without that, Domingo wouldn't say anything about Emilio and Jesse's traffic, so Walter didn't search over Jesse to cook....
This was an unprecedented masterpiece in TV history. Saul: A character initially created for a little comic relief in an otherwise dark universe, ended up getting more seasons and more character depth than any one else. Also: Mike. Bob Odenkirk was unavailable to shoot the scenes in which they needed to clear up Janes overdose, so they created Mike as one of Sauls guys and he too ended up getting so much more depth in BCS. I will miss BB and BCS for the rest of my life
i love the contrast between jesse saying you want a CRIMINAL lawyer, and then jimmy saying i am a lawyer not a criminal (also the way nacho looks at him like you are gonna end up being a criminal cause no innocent person would hire you)
Just finished watching Better Call Saul, and I never felt so depressed about such an ending... This show is truly a masterpiece
