Regarding the infinity button: The new "infinite button" feature enables the camera to quickly focus on stars within just 1 second. This feature is activated after using the autofocus feature following a firmware update. Once activated, the camera will remember the focus point and efficiently locate the area where the stars are the sharpest and clearest.

I've had Dwarf for a month. It's a fantastic device especially for its price. He manages to take incredible photos and allows everyone, including beginners, to become passionate about astronomical photography.

I could not wait for my tree's to move so I cut the things down. Old trees so I can now use my Dwarrf 2. Great info on the Dwarff 2. Subscribed.
I own the Dwarf II and the SeeStar S50. I find the SeeStar to be extremely easy to setup, but frustrating because of so many stacking failures. The Dwarf II has allowed me to progress in my basic astrophotography knowledge with its equatorial capabilities and exploring the uses of various filter types. I know these sealed smart scopes reduce the need for flats, but I'd appreciate your considering a video on how to take and utilize flats for the Dwarf II with and without filters. Thanks for your very instructional videos.
Based on my own experiences, I have found their customer support to be excellent. I received my first Dwarf 2 last February and I eventually found out that the optics were pinched and all of my stars were triangular. I sent them an email about the problem and they replied back asking for the files. I sent them a link to the files, and they responded within an hour. The upshot was that they sent me a new Dwarf 2 and didn't even ask for the old one back.
I find the dwarf2 very easy to set up, power-ons/point the lens up to a piece of clear sky/autofocus/calibrate; and running in 5mins. For its price it’s giving me fantastic results, even with the small aperture.

Big difference between pixinsight and Siril. Images come out far better! They also have a 30 day free trial license as well!

As far as I know the dark frames are done for both 4K and 2K in one run, hence the 20 minutes waiting time.
Really? I heard from Dwarflab previously that only one set was taken. Perhaps it was introduced in a recent update. Thank you so much for bringing that out!

Especially beginners, do not purchase the Dwarf II. I have had the Dwarf II and currently own a ZWO SeeStar (and Unistellar). The SeeStar is far superior and definitely easier to use than the Dwarf II.
