Service cost is indeed high, but if money is not a problem will definitely suggest honda authorised service. As they are able to source smallest part and fix small issues which other garages won't fix. The value added services if done at the right intervals and need will help preserve your car better in long run. Don't go by the SA advice blindly for everything, keep a tab on what you have availed when then do it. Of course the service and parts are overpriced, but the companies are charging you as a car owner and not for the actual cost of the part or the fair labor cost. If you are a DIY kind of guy with good knowledge nothing like owning an honda, it requires very little maintenance. Body rust, suspension and the steering are its weak points and need care.
I agree with you. Authorised are always better. That too in my area they are doing a great job. As said, SA tries to push VAS, i opt for wheel balancing only as i does the service once a year. DIY to say honestly, need to experiment by allocating time.
Honda is Honda. Depends on the previous owner how had he maintained the car. Please check the Honda Authorised service records before buying. Brio is a small hatchback good for a family of 3 or 4 with 1 or 2 children. Boot space is not great. Excellent car to roam around in the city and highways too.
Hi, happy to see this video. Looks like ASCs are using the same tactics everywhere across India. I'm sure some of it is pushed and convinced by your Service Advisor. Motor care treatment is a scam. It's just engine bay cleaning which they generally do during general service. Can be easily denied next time. Headlight enrichment is fine in your case but around ₹800 is very costly. About AC cleaning, unless there's a foul smell, there's no need for it. For this as a periodic maintenance, you can just put the blower on full heat, roll the windows down and drive for 10 mins. All bacteria/fungus will be cleared. I've personally been sceptical about ASC Wheel alignment and it's also on the costlier side. I generally get it done outside from trusted stores where alignment happens in front of me. Generally, unless your car is pulling sideways, there's no need imho. Has your ASC given your wheel alignment report printouts? If not, kindly demend them for it. I hope these points are helpful in the future.
OMG, i got scammed again by Honda this time?😂 Yes you are right, those were pushed to me & thought of doing the AC thing once as i bought the car after Corona was over being unsure of previous owner's use of the car during corona. Motor care they costed Rs.600+ which i would have done when given for a water wash. I didn't know that. Again on the headlight whitening, he pushed me & 900 is damn costly, i must be aware next time. People are cleaning with 10rs toothpaste on UA-cam. On the wheel alignment, again i wanted to do it once for self satisfaction again being unsure of the previous owner's maintanence. I got no report from them. I must ask him. Thanks for reminding. This is my very first time giving a car for service & wanted to get things done under one roof. So blindly trusted them. I am new to the city, will have to find some trusted Auto Spa to get things done unofficially. Glad you highlighted those points, will make sure i never repeat this with them again.
Hi bro.. I too own a Brio.. same spec as yours . Hows the suspension doing? I feel its a bit weak in my car.. thinking of replacing with a new set.. whats your opinion on it??
Oh nice. If you had watched my short trip to palakkad video i would have mentioned the same. Suspension is worst i would say & thing is my suspension is making noise nowadays. I had to slow the car literally to 10 for even a small patch/speed breaker. If yours is a 8+ years old car then replacing would be a better idea & if less than that i would suggest you to manage because even after changing i saw in few forums that there is not a major difference. Consult with a Honda technician once.
I would not recommend. Even mine is hard. Just be cautious then and there possible because there are still complaints from certain owners who had changed the suspension.
I have tried only a couple of times, if the car is balanced with people it is stable & if single I feel speeding is not safe. 100 - 110 is not an issue. I pushed till 130 & not more than that.
better., review., tata ev., as primary car for local commuting., and petrol for. long. if u dont long usually., then better buy tata ev cars. that is best. put a review of cost of insurance, for tata ev cars. sir. today in chennai., tata ev., is the highest sales. and i am seeing., lot of tata ev in roads. in chennai.
Thanks for the comment. What you said is right. EV is the future. Even though the price is reasonable still not affordable by many people in India. Based on my commuting if i compare the cost of buying the EV to my current petrol ownership, i can drive the petrol car for 10 long years with Nexon EV cost. Tiago/Tigor EV will grab the market for sure by all classes of people in the future. Tata is in line with Indian mindset, R & D's are being made to make it super affordable without compromising quality. Let's wait and see.
sir., can u compare the in a chart, between the ev and petrol cost., as u said here. so that i can also get clarity. with tiago, tigor, nexon ev. it will be useful for all.
waiting for good comparision chart., if i buy a petrol car at or below 5lakhs.,and then the ev car difference price with petrol.costs. and insurance , and all maintanence costs.

Is brio stable at high speed 100+ and 120+
