Hey Michelle, I totally understand that whole 'forever alone' feeling.
My worst date was with a guy I met on Tinder. He actually worked for a company that produces toilet paper and kitchen paper...stuff like that. So he ended up talking about tissues and toliet paper and even toiletries the whole night. He even wanted to check the brand of tissues I use. It was hell...I'm about to give up hope that there is the right one for me out there...Online dates are the worst. But like you I don't go out that much... so you are not alone. My last tinder date was the most awkward date I've ever been on. Things started off great. She was fun, outgoing, and well spoken. I dind,t get cream puffs, ice coffee,donuts and the Rice krispy treats. I did get the marsmallows,pottato chips, straberries,pretzels,raspberry,s, and fondue chocolate. Yeah, meeting guys on apps isn't going to find you love, just douches that want a hook up. Maybe try a dating agency rather than an app. Guys probably don't ask you out in person because you are beautiful and that can be intimidating for many, they expect a no, so they don't bother risking it, which is dumb. With the chewing, we are watching an eating video, chewing is part and parcel of that. :)

Then guys (and women too) need to work on not intertwining their ego with who does and doesn't want them. No risk, no reward.
