I just replayed Portal 1 for the first time since this song came out. I came across a part of dialogue that was bugging me for the longest time, as I couldn't remember where I had heard the line at the end from. The only thing I remembered was that it was back from my EDM days. It was only after setting my search history to filter things prior to 2016 that I rediscovered this. Absolute banger of a track, I loved it then and still love it now.

City 17, and release the toxin. I get it now it's referencing the half-life universe. Release the toxin for portal, city 17 for half-life 2. I just solved the answer to life. Since city has 4 letters, you knkw what else has 4 letters? Gabe, which stands for gabe newell, but gabe newell has new in it. never heard of breakbeat before, but after hearing this i need to check it out.
Breakbeat is a rather broad genre description, since practically all of drum & bass falls into it's spectrum with the only difference of a usually increased bpm. As well as a lot of future bass and drumstep.

A way you can usually find songs in a similar genre pretty easy is by searching the song on youtube, and looking through the other songs the uploader has on their channel or by trying out one of youtube's autoplaylists, if they happen to appear.
