The fact that Heyman, after being a sleazy, scummy heel for 95% of his time in front of a TV camera, got a pop that most babyfaces would kill to get just for saying "YOU'RE NOT MY TRIBAL CHIEF" is just absolutely astounding.

You also have to consider WHERE this took place too. Madison Square Garden, New York, NY. He first broke into the business in this very building as a photographer. Down the street was the Hammerstein ballroom where ECW would hold their New York shows, including the ECW invasion on Raw.

One detail which I absolutely loved: Solo was angrily yelling at Paul after giving him the Samoan Spike after Heyman refused to acknowledge him as The new Tribal Chief.
“What, I’m not GOOD ENOUGH for you?? I LOVED YOU! I TRIED! I TRIED!!”
That’s great development for Solo. It shows his desire to be more than just the brainless muscle for the Bloodline, just Roman’s big ugly goon enforcer. He wants to be bigger, he wants to be more, he wants championships and glory and prestige and fame and respect- he wants to take it ALL.
Yet others doubt him and don’t think he has what it takes to be in Roman’s spot, and that ANGERS him, fuels him to be as ruthless as he’s been.
Solo is slowly becoming a worthy foe for a babyface Tribal Chief Roman upon his return.

Paul Heyman made this segment one of the best in years. I never thought I’d see him, of all people, turn babyface. Paul has a history of wanting to save his own skin and betraying those who believe in him. CM Punk, Brock Lesnar twice, Curtis Axel, the list goes on.
Yet faced with his own annihilation and following an unhinged Solo Sikoa and a dark new Bloodline, Paul Heyman did the unthinkable: he did the right thing.
    He stayed loyal.
Even with Roman gone, Jey gone, Jimmy gone and Solo going rogue with his hostile takeover and leaving Paul alone, the Wiseman would only acknowledge one Tribal Chief, and it was not Solo.
And it makes Roman’s eventual return and babyface turn that much more exciting, that much more anticipated.

If there’s one thing WWE is doing right with this current Bloodline arc, it’s that it’s doing an amazing job at making you anxious to see Roman Reigns finally make his return. When Solo first started parading around calling himself “Tribal Chief” and blatantly lying about Roman’s status to take advantage of Heyman, everyone was already growing annoyed with Solo. Him bringing in people with “criminal backgrounds” without Heyman’s knowledge or consent, then going so far as to claim “Roman’s not coming back” while using his moves like the Spear and the Shield Triple Powerbomb just added fuel to the fire. We all wanted Roman to come back just to let Solo and the Tongans know who the real Head of the Table is. But after this… everything changed. As abusive and manipulative as Roman was, the one person he never put a finger on was Paul Heyman. The Wiseman. The Special Counsel. And Heyman remained loyal to Roman because of that, no matter what kind of family drama was going on. Roman will always be HIS Tribal Chief, and he made that very clear even when staring death in the face. Solo just made the biggest mistake of his life by orchestrating this assault on the Wiseman, and he’s gonna find that out real soon… when Roman comes back, he’s going to destroy the bootleg Bloodline, and I for one cannot wait to see it. Avenge The Wiseman!

      @Jeff_Pryce 2 місяці тому

@@conundrumstages It was a ruse. A plan to throw Brock Lesnar off his game. And it worked. Heyman was always devoted to the Bloodline. Once they amassed enough power, even the mighty Brock Lesnar wasn’t enough to overcome them, and Heyman knew it, so he stayed loyal to Roman.

Roman's return is going to be "nuclear" indeed. They have laid out such a perfect scenario for him, while making eveyone he will feud against look good. You have the Uso's sure to get in the mix, with Rock being a crazy wild card. This is just Bloodline members they can play with, when Lesnar and Punk could get involved if need be too. Amazing how just returning simple things to wrestling ignited wwe on fire again. The damage Vince did was masked, not to all who follow closely, by the deals and money contracts they had, while audience was dwindling. Cena will attack both signifying that he wants to win his 17th title, Rock will run in on Roman's behalf and attack Cena, then before the finish MJF will make his WWE debut, attack Roman, Cody will win, and as MJF backs off you can hear him say "You owe me, Runnels!"

What what is Paul Heyman brings back Brock Lesnar to conn front the blood line, Solo beats Lesnar to set him on Roman's level

It is his greatest work, because Heyman doesn't have Roman or Rock to fall back on right now. He is carrying a crew of young, one-trick horses through this story. Fatu is the exception. They'll have to break him away from the group. He's too talented.

What’s wrong with Jacob Fatu’s music? It’s great. The hate on Def Rebel from wrestling fans is really unjustified and overblown. They’ve made much more good themes than bad themes over the years. I feel like people are hating them just to hate them at this point. They make great themes all the time. There was way more generic themes in the 2000s when Johnston was making them but people have their rose colored glasses on.

Def Rebel is trash, mostly. A few hits here and there, but mostly garbage and misses. They are not good. Mediocre, really.

can we please stop the possibility of Brock and Punk joining Roman to fight The Bloodline already? it will ruin the story and it should focus only on their family members and close friends like the Tongans

The WWE doesn't care, if its wrestlers and managers get injured. They keep doing dangerous stunts on the cement floors of the arena. Injuries are just accepted in the WWE. The people running the company don't care if a performer gets permanently injured. If it happens, it happens. Move on to the next victim of wrestling greed.
