Girlllll yes I do most of this preparing for a test! I do a test schedule for the week before the test and it actually helped a lot my first test was a 78 and I need an 80 to pass ...but after I started doing the test schedule and the tips you said, I got 80 then 88. My 4th exam is Monday after spring break and I will be using these tips! Thank you!
@@laurendavil4538 So I basically break up the different concepts into each day for a week. For example One day would be communication then the next would be infection then inflammation etc etc For each day I.. -Go over the PowerPoint -Go over the notecards for that concept -PICMONIC -UA-cam the concept -Find practice tests or NCLEX questions on that subject -Go over notes That’s what I do and I have passed all my tests after I failed the first one...
I'm in LPN school I failed my first exam because the questions were scenario-based and I don't know how to answer those type of questions. Thank you! Your video is going to help me
This was so helpful! I struggle with test taking, and I just took my nursing entry exam, and using tactics like these helped me reach my pass goal! Im gonna utilize the other tips you mentioned as well!
Hey golden babes! I have been watching all of the videos and following all of her tips and I have gotten my first A on my first exam in nursing school! I’m very much excited thank you so much for the support!
I love each and every one of these tips! Thank you. I will make sure incorporate these tips. I've been struggling with exams and my test anxiety doesn't make it better
Thank you for recording this. Pic monic seems so helpful. I was accepted into the nursing program so just waiting for a start date. I will definitely look to purchase and utilize picmonic during nursing school.
This video was super informative, thank you a lot sis!! I got no one in my family whom I could go to and ask about health care education, so watching you was like listening to an older sister guiding me to success. Thanks a lot!!
This was so so helpful! I’ve really been struggling with my nursing exams and have finals coming up next week! I’m definitely going to try these strategies in my study routine to aim for a high grade! Thank you again!
Also, i checked on your amazon under the vodeo description, i didn't see the NCLEX Exam book. I really wanna see what it looks like so i can order the book
I'm currently taking classes online. That's where i messed up on. Staying on one question too long. I'm currently having trouble trying to read the gradebook online. We have numbers like points(ex. 201.50/289.50) but i just need clarification on how to read and understand it.
When you see numbers like that in the grade book you have to divide the score you got by the total and then multiply it by 100 in order to get your grade. So given the example you provided: 201.50/289.50=0.696 then you multiply it by 100; so 0.696x100= 69.6% or 70% if your professor rounds. That’s your final grade 69.6%/70%! Hope this clarifies 💕
Omg thank you thank you so much you are a life saver. I have emailed my instructors and ask the DON and nobody knew anything. All they could tell me was it look like im doing good. I really appreciate this so much.👍🙏 We have to maintain a 70% in order to move on to skills and clinicals.
How soon do you start doing the practice questions or should I say how many days prior to exam you do practice questions and how many a day is sufficient? Love your videos!!!
I start doing practice questions as soon as I’m finished with audios, my concept maps and reviewing UA-cam videos. That way I’ve gone through all my resources then I practice applying my knowledge with the questions! 💕 this is typically 3-4 days prior to the exam. & on exam day I skim over them and my notes all over again!
This is a great video. I want to know is it necessary to read a chapter from the textbook before lecture because in the past I would read the textbook and not be able to understand anything I read and end up failing.
Hello, i will start nursing school this August. This picmonic seems like something i will definitely give a try, but is there any other app that would help me go through nursing school as well? Everything is new to me, and to be quite frankly, i am kinda anxious/scared a bit. I'll be taking Fundamentals of Nursing and Pharmacology this semester. I am scared of studying the wrong material, and that's my issue.
