your study tips and the things that you do like color coding and the flash card have really helped me in nursing school. Just the fact by me writing things down and lookin at it really helps. Now i still like to write things down on paper and take notes on paper but that just me. But all of your other study tools have really helped me out a lot.
This makes me so happy 🥺❤️ I’m so glad my tips help! & girl trust me, it took a lot of time for me to get used to everything being digital; but you can definitely still apply the tips to regular paper and textbooks. But again I’m SO HAPPY I could help! This is literally why I make videos, so it makes me happy to know they’re effective! Thank you for sharing 💕
I find that writing out notes and studying it helps me out a lot and yes picnomic is a very useful tool as well as practice questions thank you for this video and yes I make flash cards for any definitions I am unsure of , I am currently in my third year in med surge thank you for this video ❤️.
Hey Nursing School Sis! I’m in my 3rd semester of my ADN and I graduate in December as well! OB was NO JOKE! I’m in Peds now. You put me on to good notes I’m going to get the pen tomorrow. Thank you!
THANK YOU Queen 👑 for all of these amazing info! i am a new subscriber and i binged watch your videos already. i am a pre-req rn student and i’m working on getting in my school’s RN program by next year. Thank you again! good luck in the remainder of your RN program and nclex! god bless you!
sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
i need help ,im so confused as to how to take notes for A&P. i dont know if i should take down the notes from the powerpoint my teachers has or just highlight the chapters in my textbook. please help me
Watch a video first. Then see what the main idea is before your lecture. During your lecture try to identify in your mind if they touched on the same points in the video. After lecturers read the lecture slides. Use the lecture slides as the base for your knowledge because this is the key information. Everything else from the text is just added details. At my nursing school if you read the text then you're likely to get a higher grade because the exam is limited to the information in the text so the more you know, the better. Start by formulating everything into a question as you read and take notes. This helps formulate understanding of the material, as well as it helps when you have to review for active recall. Don't take notes on things you already remember! After you've watched the video, went to lecture, read the PowerPoint, read the text you should know quite a bit! Therefore it helps cut down on the amount of notes you would have to write
Yes I love them! It’s a great resource to use for memorization! & good notes is an app that can be downloaded, there is a one time payment of I believe $7-$8!
Not a nursing student but just love your content! How long does it take you to do all this? Also, do you have any updated time management/organisation/balancing life tips? xx
If u go the ADN route that is 2 years. To go from ADN to BSN that program which is called a bridge program is 1 year. So it would take a total of 3 years if u start the ADN to BSN route
I’m sorry if you have mentioned this in your posts/videos, I’m catching up on your videos🙂. Do you use flash cards and concept maps together or do you always(of course recently) use concept map and sometimes incorporate flashcards? Thank you for these helpful tips. I just got into nursing school and your videos are inspiring me to get ahead on the best studying tools for me.
I love your videos, I start nursing fall 2021, and I registered for fundamentals, microbiology, and math dosage. I heard some students say I shouldn’t take microbiology with any of my nursing courses and I heard others say it’s doable. I didn’t want to take it in the summer because it’s a much faster pace. I don’t want to be barking up the wrong tree, so what is your advice?
Here are direct links to both: go.magik.ly/ml/164i1 & go.magik.ly/ml/164i2 💞 I’ll also go ahead and list them in my description box as well, along with my laptop 💻
What audio are you listening too before reading the book? You mentioned in another video to read chapter before class. Can you explain how you do it please
Hi! So rn I’m close to finishing all my prereqs for the nursing program. Each semester for the nursing program has 3-4 classes. Is it harder? Can I do them all one semester at a time?
Hey, usually for the nursing program classes are already planned out for you & each schools program layout is different. However, if you have the choice of how many classes you can take in the semester, to each is own. Not everyone’s lifestyle & stress management is the same, I try to stress this a lot here on my channel 💕 of course the more you take at once, the more difficult it is because your juggling more.
I got into nursing school but I can’t lie I’m scared fr cause I’m doing online school for grade 12 so it’s manageable but idk how I can deal with all those classes first semester
Picmonic has different subscribtion tiers; the higher the tier, the more it’s cost; however, you get more access. Also, when you use my discount code you get $$$ off 💕

I love your videos, I start nursing fall 2021, and I registered for fundamentals, microbiology, and math dosage.
