The answer to "can you beat X as Y" is generally "yes but it's really annoying"
True, but like most these sorta videos, i think people are there for the person rather then the gameplay.

@@armoredcoreloreI love these videos I haven’t been into AC since I didn’t ever have it in my generation. I’ve played every Souls game and AC6 I want to play AC 4A but would need a PC for Emulation or buy it for too much $ so I’ll watch vids when I feel nostalgic for the commercial of White Glint.
@@KewneRain Mine too, i admit i do enjoy a good only type pokemon run. Mind you i do there are much better ac players out there and one day i would like to have some on to do a run for me.

It kind of cool how fanart has almost become the cannon of what may look like. The again i think that's the joy of not seeing pilots, everyone got a different idea of what they look like.
My favorite part is how all the Lynx fanart just makes the characters the color of their NEXT. May’s big dumb green smiley translates to her just being Sanae or Ay Pool always being blue or white haired lol

@@armoredcorelore It took my monkey brain a while to take into consideration power consumption and recharge rates. So levels which required long jumps were rather annoying. Haha
@@Ranadinn Reading this brought back memories of that mission where you have to jump between cliffs to reach the targets.
@@armoredcorelore Destroy Arteria Ulna? There's one like that in AC2:AA "Attack the Airbase". Also in the AC2 generation (I think) is a mission where you start at the bottom of a mine and have to boost up long corridors. That one was not doable in a tank.
So weird to imagine May as the game's final boss in the Lapdog ending. But it's fun to imagine that her iconic smiley emblem is supposed to be sinister. Also, try telling a Soulsgame sweatlord to beat AC4A with only Killdozer's fist weapons lol
You are right i would be quite a twist to see this happy lynx suddenly turn up with old king and be quite sinister with how she wants to save everyone. And ah killdozer, one day i might dare myself to do a run.
I enjoy your deepdives into specific pilots or ACs and your accent really sells it, weird as that is to say. Alot of it comes down to how your accent and video style reminds me of the kind of briefings one could get in the older games.

Honestly pretty solid AC. Doesn't need any real upgrades to use effectively. Ive used very similar builds in my GA only playthrough.
Merrygate was pretty solid i had a blast going through FA with her next. But i still can't quite get past the famous four next battle ha ha.
I was able to beat the game on a lightweight NEXT lugging an Oigami, anything is possible if you are stubborn enough!
I think katsumi called us pilots out with her line in the defeat orca's AF then.
For my answer, yes you can. It maybe tough but with that big green :) you can't fail. YAY MAY!!!!!

May can come in really clutch if you're having a hard time taking out Redrum with her guided missiles.
True redrum can run circles around a player with the fogs help/ May's missiles are big help in taking out and tracking down the red nightmare.

Something I used to do with fun middle-rankers like May was come up with lore-friendly sets of alternate equipment. Merrygate's a fun heavyweight to play around with.
Can't say I've ever seen Stigro get sunk in Defeat The 8th Fleet though. That's news to me.
A neat idea, Pink tusk mammoth does the same idea on his channel with his ac6 characters. And right it was quite weird as i was nowhere near so the 8th fleet themselves took out stigro.

May does help me a lot in Defeat Red Rum & Starka mission. (She keeps Starka away while I catching Red Rum.)
I admit in that mission the ai for her is pretty dam helpful, she does not just charge in and uses the air space a lot to keep away from the close combat.

I think if I didn't have so much to do, I'd take a crack at that final mish with May to see if it was doable. It's hard to get luckier than 12:00 where Old King jumped the wall toward you. Once Otsdarva went down, it was 2v3. Dang.
Right! Old King coming in for the double team, only then i went off to get Wynne and he dived right back into Roadie.
Ngl. The Comic reliefs like Her, Dan Moro, don colonel and all the other honestly put some life into ACFA. AC6 had all the pilot too closely related to the main plot or basicaly are pricks.
Wish if AC6 ever get FA like treatment we can get more comic reliefs and waifu material like on the side.
Because dangit i need a comfy green waifu material to piss ayre off for that slice of life Catfight over the radio.
Nice now i want an rpg where you can go on adventure with lynxs and ravens, so we can have these chats.
well, about comic reliefs we have Rummy in AC6, and don't want to be mean but what counts as waifu material? I've seen other people say that but it's just female characters with a kind personality?
Honestly the waifu thing is more a joke then anything. AC is not really a waifu sort game, you could say ac characters fall more into i really like this female character for personality and voice as really we have no idea what they look like.

There's a game i played, Guardian Tales. One of the Characters got the Nickname "Lord Smiley Face" by the gnomes living in her home. I feel that this name fits to May aswell.

@@armoredcorelore Its a Gacha Game, the graphics are a charming Mix of 8-bit and cartoon. The gameplay is simple but engagiert, but it gets demanding over time. I also dont know how its currently going but there seemed to be some controversy around the latest Patch. Just a litte Info ahead
8:55 I first learned that Stigro could be destroyed(?) in this mission from Silent chief (a UA-camr who's made a few AC challenge run videos), and I remember how shocked I was when I first heard that, as I didn't think it was possible for the 8th fleet to even do that... (Do Arms Forts really suck that badly!?)

I played this mission far too many time and honestly it was more luck then anything.
Did you slow down the gameplay footage at 5:23, or was your computer/console struggling to process all the drones?
Ps3 having trouble with the missiles and drones at the same time bless it ha ha.

GA is the best! Their normals are the best! Their AFs? The best! And they don't destroy the environment like a certain Answerer. Their Nexts? Utter garbage... But I've lore speculated the corps were trying to move away from Kojima since it was killing the world. Which Nexts would function best without Primal Armor? GA!

The new Armored Core is way too hard. I simply cannot beat the missle barrage guy that is in a bubble. And I think it's only like stage 3. Thanks for ruining Armored Core with making it Dark Souls. 😑🤦♂️
Well while i understand your frustration. I think from is just trying something new. Not that i really have any say on how the game was made but i get where you coming from. We still have a lot of the old games which are going strong and who know maybe ac7 will be something like the older series.
Well, that was incredibly underwhelming and anti-climactic.
