@@ld4974 I also got this exact car but I’m only 2 weeks in, I love it. But I’m coming from a Hyundai kona so anything in this class would’ve been an upgrade haha. Ride is nice, v6 is smooth and quick, very spacious inside and lots of cargo space!
This man is a comedic genius in the most unintentional way. And amazing job reviewing a vehicle. Thoroughly, pound for pound, the most fun I've had watching a UA-cam video in a very long time. Maybe I'm weird. I love this guy. He's a good time.
Hahahahaha Terence! I enjoy reviewing all brands since there is so much to see and so much that is different! I am glad you were here watching. That’s awesome that you just got one. Congratulations
If people wonder why they have led low beams and incandescent high beams it's because that combination you can see very well when you turn on the incandescent high beams, I have the same thing on my vehicle, the LED lights on only the best way I can explain it is it goes out a certain amount of of distance and just stops then darkness, when you turn on the incandescence you can see a much larger area lit up.
I agree with you - I'm impressed with this vehicle, not too big, not too small but I can't get past the arm rests - maybe if I see it in person and how it feels, I might change my mind for me the skinny armrests makes everything look cheap - glad I'm not the only one - Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
I test drove one today. The exterior appearance doesn't really appeal to me, but the cabin is really spacious. The ride was very comfortable and the V6 had plenty of power. Visibility was exceptional, in that every where you looked you could clearly see all around the vehicle. Not really liking the armrests. I'd rather have a larger center console with big lid to perform that function. I am a little perplexed, as I have been seriously considering the Blazer V6.
I really like it. Improvements would be a more functional dash design like the rav4 with its storage spaces going across for the driver and passenger. All SUV'S need to move the rear wiper to go under the protective piece of the back glass. Top mount vs bottom mount. Wireless phone charging. Captian arm rest need to be wider if you have them at all. A soft console material is a good choice for a console arm rest. House outlet and rear cargo speakers. IMO
I would like some information about how the Passport feels when applying full torque at 4200 RPM and is it more or less drivable than the competition with low end torque and turbocharger ?
Been torn between this and the 4runner. I like the AWD. Handling. Better mpg than the 4runner. Great cargo space. Light offroad capabilities. Insurance $400 less a year than the 4runner. But will it last 200k miles.
I have the passport elite. Things I hate are having to flip the arm rest up every time you want to buckle or unbuckle seatbelt. Cup holder too deep for a small coffee. When you reach for it you wind up grabbing onto the lid instead of the cup which pulls the lid off. Also makes cup bounce around and easily spills. Don’t like the gas petal. I am short and even with seat forward it’s still not easy. I think it’s too small. Hope I can turn sensitive down for radar for front crash warnings. Every time I go around a bend and there is a car on the same bend the car slows and beeps and the big brake light comes on even on small curves. Also don’t like hearing the engine noise on acceleration. Other than that, it’s a nice car.
Did you test drive the Passport before buying it? You would have experienced the gas pedal issue. You don’t have to flip the armrest all the way up, just lift it to get to the buckle. Now, in our Pilot as well as our Passport, get yourself the round container of Certs, empty the Certs into a bag, drill a 1/2 or 3/4 inch hole on both sides of the container and drop the Certs container into the coffee cup holder. When you want to put a bottle in the holder, stick your finger into the hole to remove the Certs container. Make sure you drill that hole or you will ‘play hell’ getting the container out! Lol 😂
I just bought this car, exactly this car today. So far, very impressed. And I've always owned Jeep products.
2 months in, how are you liking it?

Jeff, what are you doing??? You're Toyota Jeff. No!!!!!!! Kidding :) I actually just bought the Passport Trailsport and love it. Good review.

I love mine!! 2022 exl in red and I’ve had it for 3 weeks now. There’s so much to learn about this vehicle, so I’m trying to watch lots of videos lol.
wouldn’t have found the passport nice till this video. Great review
Thanks! It surprised me as well
Another great review Jeff. 👏 Enjoy watching your videos. 🤣 Nice Passport as well.
Excellent review! This is on my short list of my next new car or truck-ridgeline needs the elite's interior.
Thanks Steve!
“Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah!” 😂😂
I purchased a ‘24 Trailsport version of this car. Love it, and thanks for the review.
It's likely my next car, but until they actually exist for sale (without ridiculous markups) I'm going to wait it out.
Same here
I paid MSRP for my '23 Passport Elite 3 weeks ago here in Dallas.

your style is awesome. Love it. Keep up the good work.
Wish Honda would get rid of the foldable arm rests and put the arm rest / storage compartment back.

I just bought one and I love the arm rests its too big for a center console armrest.
Just purchased my new 2023 passport EX-L! Great review
I would buy this one. Luv the blue.
Jeff, you're hilarious
awesome haha I’m glad you like the videos!! Thanks for being here :)

Ew. The Blazer is trash lol.
@@bobvance-... and yet it is one of the highest ratings for consumer satisfaction!
Honda sensing suite is located in the windshield and not in the giant logo btw
The sensor is behind the front bumper grill.
I like this.
The debate it between this and two others.
The Toyota rav4 and the Honda CRV
Like the space but gas milage.
Any help out there?

It’s very nice. Is there a spare tire?
Yes!
What do you think of refreshed Honda Passport?
Was hoping to see the 3rd row seats
@@williamjimmie6781 that’s why they make pilot. The passport is supposed to be like this so people don’t want a 3rd row get a bigger cargo area.
@@joeytakach7131 ah okay thanks

It will last 200k we have a pilot with 210k and it’s still runs like a dream just take care of it and u can easily make it to 200k
no fog lights, no ventilated seats, no rear controls in the back
Step up to the Elite and you get all that plus more...
How is the noise in the cabin ? elite vs ex-l Is it a noticeable difference ?
Hmmm. Crickets. I would like to know also.
Would have been nicer if the rear doors opened a little wider🤔
Wtf i thought you were singing for toyota
Most cars don't need that "cutout" in the front window, they just don't have the plastic or metal in the way to begin with
For the price I was expecting more.

@PokeGrunt Had a V6 engine in my Toyota...didn't hear it in that.......
for the cup holders, I stuffed a napkin or two at the bottom to raise it up enough for small cups. :)
Put some foam on the bottom of the cupholder, don't rev over 4,500-rpm, so You don't activate i-VTEC ( and mis the 'noise'😢) saves some gas too

@@keko7098 Thanks. I wound up cutting a piece of foam to just slip over the cup..works great.
Can't help but cringe everytime those seat buttons are pushed. They really slam down. Probably ok but I like to take better care.
no power inverter
Smaller than a pilot🤔
No LED lighting inside? Also looks like a ton of cheap interior hard plastic
$45k hahahaha
