    VERY NICE JOB! I had some wrong information and he had to redo some of the test because i flat out made a mistake! Miami done a hell of a job seemlessly fixing the video keeping integrity! Oh my friend! While I can’t thank you enough for your words, you have NOTHING to worry about. I’ve experienced your extensive knowledge on all the guns you deal with over and over again and quite frankly this was an easy mistake that apparently many people made in the past.

    Great test with the stainless trays. It would be better if you screwed down the slots that the trays fit into and fastened the entire Tunnel of Destruction to the table so that everything does not move. Energy is being absorbed by the trays moving and you would get better penetration. We also could better reproduce the test at home if everything is locked down so it does not move. Can you give us a shot count per fill? Keep up the good work.

    • @AirgunAlley
      @AirgunAlley  3 місяці тому +1

      Yes!! And you know what - it’s at least the 4th gun that does this. The GK1 did it a few times, the Alfa 1.50 did it, another gun I’m working on did it and this one shot two pellets at once as well…. more than once.
      I’m either a very bad “loader” or …. bah, I have no idea 😂

    I guess I missed when you posted the first one. Been rather busy.
    I watched this, comparing its power to my Hatsan BT-65 Carnivore .30 cal.... which definitely hits much harder. Makes me wonder how the longer barrel version of that AEA would do. The Carnivore really smashed a coconut... but it wasn't a Dominican coconut. Heh. But the Carnivore is a sidelever, and the AEA's semiauto.

    Thank you for making the effort to re-do the video with corrections. Although, to be honest one of the main features is the semi auto mode, which you didnt seem to engage with. Truth is i struggled to understand how the semi function worked myself, because AEA havent even put together a basic instruction manual. Next time you try it, keep the locking mechanism (on the right side on the gun) down as you flick to semi.
    The gun (when its in semi) is an entirely new beast. With the .25 im getting 850 and its fast and hits hard. It takes on an entirely new dimension to it, and your really missing out if you dont give it ago. Believe me on this, try again when you get time and youll see what i mean, i wouldnt be surprised if you did a new video on the rifle on semi auto. Its blistering. ESPECIALLY with Hornets.
    But yes, you need time with it, to understand some small idiosyncrasies.
    Also the mags are bloody awful, AEA need to develop better, more robust mags.

One spot on my list is ya'll, i will be getting a big bore also this later spring. Ive got several pcp's but none i can hunt deer with in Missouri. They require .40 cal or larger and a pcp type gun.
