i buy all my evinx stuff from newenglandairgun. They rock and they tell you how to tune these up and how much pressure you REALLY can use safely. But it does put your viper out of warrenty if they find out you do. Even though I didnt over fill it.. yet. I bought a couple of parts to make it look more of a sbr since I now have 2 gk1s, 2 bulldogs, a condor, and a leshiy. I gave my gunnar away to a nieghbor because Cause I figured I didnt need such a super duper heavy "and accurate" lr rifle. I did pop a lot of pigdons and corvies from over 100 yars away with the gunnar. and its a very very cheap AR "air rifle"

All the creativity from your very first to the currently last video, the gags, informations, the stopmotions (please never stop doing them lol)...every video is just the full package of entertainment.
Unfortunately there is nothing i can do, but i hope this channel keeps growing further and further...my wife and me are planning out vacations in Orlando and Florida next year, maybe we should hop by - dont shoot us tho :D

I really enjoy your videos, keep them rollin in. This video is so timely, I was sitting here at my desk having coffee, watching this video, and installing my Romeo red Dot on my Hueben GK1 22 cal that arrived last week. The next dealer shipment of 25 cals. won't be in stock until about mid November, maybe😂 Demand is crazy. My 22. cal Hueben is insane, 19 shots as fast as you pull the trigger all between 900 and 1000 FPS on my chrono. Thank god I installed a carpeted, 6mm plexiglass backstop, which is behind my inch thick Costco checker floor mat, and my bullet trap, ........plywood 🤣😂 good luck. I'm not the straightest shooter. I turned down the power to 700 so I could get 3 plus mags per tank. I also cut the power to turn down the volume for AG LA, and it still isn't enough. I can't shoot it in my yard with a Donny suppressor attached at 700 FPS because it is too loud for my neighbors. I wrote the dealer (Ares) yesterday asking for advice on making it more backyard friendly. He told me, and I trust him, that the Hueben suppressors will do the trick and will be in stock along with the 25 cals in mid November. Dude, send me a suppressor the day they come in. The 25 cal is more powerful and louder so you are in for a treat. I think you will relate; taking my Recluse and the GK 1, (you have the Dragon and you'll have the GK1 25), to the range is crazy fun. I'm pumped for your video on the GK1.

The gauge is on the muzzle end so that when you point it at someone (in self defense, of course) he can decide whether to be scared or laugh at you and point out how low your air pressure is. 😀
Reminds me of a *CLASSIC* _Dennis the Menace_ comic where Dennis’ Dad hears a noise and goes downstairs _”armed”_ with Dennis’ *WATER PISTOL!* Dad is holding the intruder at gunpoint while Dennis is urging, _”Squirt him, Dad. Squirt him!”_

Always enjoy your videos, and appreciate the creativity in the intro clips. I couldn’t agree with you more regarding the pressure gauge location at the end of the muzzle. With all the advances taking place in the industry, I’d sure like to see three items become standard: pressure gauge locations not at the end of the muzzle; regulated PCPs so that the “shot curve” silliness ends; and Foster fittings permanently attached instead of fill detached fill ports that are too easy to misplace.

Question about the Jet 2 (.22 cal): If the cylinder are full of air, and you still have rounds that you don't plan on using, is there any way to leak/bleed the air out of the gun? From what I understand, if you keep the air in the cylinders while it's not being used, you can damage the seals.
    Anyone?

Funny that I was just watching a Kentucky Ballistics video before this...
I never tried chronographing my Viper and Jet II. Now I don't have to.
I looked into the Huben GK1 before. $1400 for that thing. Yikes. But it's supposed to be a very powerful and reliable semiauto. There aren't a lot of PCP pistols made for power, though. I do have what I believe to be THE most powerful production air pistol. It's my Evanix Rex P, in .50 caliber. With its standard tank, it only gets like 3-4 shots per fill. I just dumped a lot of extra money into it, though... I put the carbon fiber bottle on it. Still got to try shooting it after the upgrade. I just don't have the free time for it lately... and, well, I installed the carbon fiber bottle 2 days ago, so...

when out out shooting my airFUNS , LOL , i coined a new word LOL , people often tell me , i bet you cant hit that turtle , my reply ,are you going to eat it ? , i dont advocate also shooting live animals like you also do , i strictly shoot at inanimate objects because i am an incredible shot ,dont have to prove anything to anyone !

But hey if you got that kind of money and want to spend $1,000 at barely does anything more than a $250 air gun . . . The viper maze fire quicker . . But that's about all it does and it isn't worth $750 more dollars just because it fires quicker . . You must be very rich .

I loved this video. I appreciate what you do regarding the support of other channel producers. Top marks for that. Both of these guns are getting up to top of the line. They are both excellent performers with some definite oomph. With that power and excellence, I would love to see how each perform accuracy wise. As I mentioned before, I found my case of older pellet/BB guns, which sparks my interest in competitive type shooting. Not that I'm planning on entering competitions and get my butt kicked, but a nice set up target range in my backyard. I'm wondering, would it be possible to put guns of this nature to an accuracy test as well. The Viper is definitely out of my meager pocket book range, but something like the Jet2 will be soon. I plan on mostly using my Crosman 2240 for target shooting, but I'll wait until I get a silencer for it. I have a number of paranoid neighbors that I'm sure will get a little on the nervous side if they hear me shooting a gun on my property. So to keep them unawares, I will get the silencer so they can rest easy. Plus a sturdy gun rest to steady my shaky hands. Thanks for another great video. Oh, by the way, it was great to see those spaghettiOs go down two at a time. You're doing a great job in keeping that poison away from human consumption.👍

Hahaha so nice to have you back my friend! The main reason why I never do accuracy tests is that I don’t feel accurate enough. My knowledge on scopes and sighting them is inexistent. I love using the sites one the guns, but that limits me to basically power tests!
Believe it or not, I’m moving again. Next video will most likely be from Airgun Alley 3.0

Hatsan needs to get busy with the jet series.
It's an awesome gun, but they need to make it semi-auto, make it up to .30 or .35 caliber, and offer a few different barrel lengths, and an AR sttle collapsible stock.
The jet is absolutely BEGGING for accessories.
A jet 2 in .30, with a 12 inch barrel, a front grip that slides over the twin air tanks, semi auto, with a collapsible stock?
    Hell yeah.
If Hatsan did these changes, I'd own every caliber
And they need a Jet 1.5.
Take that bottom tank and shorten it just enough to get a small flashlight/laser in front of it.
The jet is the AR-15 of the airgun world.
They could easily make more selling add-ons than they do selling the gun.

Great video but you saying you can’t leave a regulated air rifle pressurized isn’t true. You can absolutely leave a regulated air gun pressurized with no problems at all. The guns these days are built so much better and the technology is leaps and bounds ahead of what it was even from a few years ago. But you can definitely keep pressure in a regulated gun. You’ll do more damage to the seals a o rings by degassing it completely every time and then pumping it back up to full pressure constantly. Yes if you’re going to store it for a long time like 6 months to a year without firing it would I recommend that probably not but I don’t know anyone that does that 😂. Oh with that all said and put aside I’m loving the pcp videos I have quite the collection myself I have several high end rifles and some nice break barrels. You going to get into break barrels at all I think it would be cool to bring them to your channel.

    • @AirgunAlley
      @AirgunAlley  8 місяців тому +1

Hey man, thanks so much for your input!
Looks like my channel is getting more and more focused on the home/self defense aspect of these guns (with a strong International interest). Many have asked me if in the long run the pcp guns would leak air. So I imagine that “long run” could mean more than 6 months. I’m thinking of someone who leaves it in a drawer or in a safe in case of need one day.
I’m so happy the technology is advancing so fast though, I’m sure the perfect pcp guns will soon surpass the older generations..
And there’s sooo much I need to explore, break barrels being on the top of the list…
      Thank you again my friend!!
