    BTW I just did a reverse trace of this board, created a couple of schematics with KiCAD, posted the PDFs and KiCAD .pro files on GitHub, and created a video showing every trace including the programming headers. I'm not monotized, nor do I plan to be. I'm just trying to share the resource. I was kinda bummed when I couldn't find a circuit schematic for the VSN-VC288. So I tried to fix the problem. I didn't show how to wire the connectors. If you want to understand why the wiring is done a certain way you need a schematic ;)

      Can you please share the link of the GitHub.
      BTW did you find a way to make this little thing measure under 3.5v?

    Thanks for posting. Of course, when you get it from EBay, the instructions are either completely absent or incomprehensible.

    I have Got This (100V - 10A) Meter and i have found that 2 Adapters was written 9V and Coming 17V :D and another 13.3V and coming 6.5V.
    Now About Meter:
    You Can Use Meter Only With AC Adaptor Or Battery - To Turn on. Use Minimum 3V Maximum 12V and Maximum 1.5A. Use thin red (+) and thin black (-).
    thick Red - is changing Pulses
    thin Yellow - also changing Pulses
    thick Black - also changing Pulses
    1) Volt measures thin Yellow and thick Black
    2) Volt measures thin Yellow and thick Red
    3) Amps measures thick Red and thick Black

    Do you mean, first diagram is for only AC (0-30 volts)? second diagram is for only DC (0-30 volts)? can we input AC (0-30 volts) in volt-ampare diplay meter? your diagrams have same doubts.

    • @IronBalls007
      @IronBalls007 5 років тому +1

      DC ofc, never use AC on this device. This is a DC voltmeter, wake up boys, it even says in the title its a ''DC 100V 10A Voltmeter'', that means max 100V and max 10Amp ONLY DC. The first diagram is to connect the meter directly to DC power, but it needs more then 4V to make the meter work and maximum 30V. The second diagram is to have a different powersupply for the meter. The meter itself needs between 4V and maximum 30V or it will burn down if used more, thats why the first diagram can not be used if you have for example a 50V powersupply as the meter itself will receive 50V and this will burn the LED's instantly. Video is kinda very clear on that one with zero doubts imo :) yw

      Between 3V - 40V DC It Can not be more clear from this video, do people even watch and think before commenting?

    Do NOT buy this. Ammeter will be off, the adjustment potentiometer is useless. Tested at around 40V, could not get the current to be even close to what my two multimeters were measuring. Tried a second unit of this peace of junk, same thing. Wires are also very tiny for 10A, nothing reassuring.
