  • This video is a tutorial on how to make Ewa Agoyin sauce or stew using ingredients like dried bell peppers, cayenne pepper, onions, ginger, seasoning cube, salt, crayfish, and red oil. The process involves blending the peppers, frying onions, and gradually cooking the sauce until it is dry and ready to be served with beans.
    0:00 🌶️ In this video, I will be showing you how to prepare my own Ewa Agoyin Sauce or stew using traditional African ingredients.
    0:25 🌶️ These are the ingredients we will be using: dried bell pepper (tatashe), bell pepper, cayenne pepper, onions, ginger, seasoning cube, salt, crayfish, and red oil.
    1:05 🌶️ I will start by soaking the dried bell pepper and cayenne pepper in hot water.
    1:30 🌶️ Next, I will blend the soaked peppers with ginger, using the same water to avoid using too much liquid.
    2:10 🌶️ After blending, I will add seasoning cube, salt, and crayfish to the mixture.
    2:30 🌶️ Now it's time to cook the sauce. I will gradually stir it to prevent burning and let it dry on low heat.
    3:20 🌶️ The sauce is ready! I will take it off the heat and fry some onions separately.
    4:00 🌶️ Finally, the Ewa Agoyin sauce is complete and ready to be served with beans. Enjoy!

But we use vegetable oil instead of palm oil. So what do u guys use to eat this sauce? U did not say. Thx for your time and everything.

    This is shito in Ghana but we add tomato puree and fish powder

    • @leahscreen
      @leahscreen  10 місяців тому

      this is not shito, as a Ghanaian, you add tomatoes paste, ginger, garlic, groundnut oil, blended dry fish but this is ewa agoyin sauce which doesn't add up like shito but instead uses red oil and bell pepper, if you manage to taste both sauces you will know they are totally different 🤣🤣🤣 here is the link to shito ua-cam.com/video/MicnxWVPkSs/v-deo.html
