That's a lot of work in preparing the Bitter Leaf for eating.May Your Family Enjoy Them. May God Continue To Bless Your Family.
Thank you so much!🙏🏿🙏🏿
Wow 😮, great idea to boil and wash the bitter leaves. I remember in the village, you will wash it several times and they are still bitter. I like them in egusi soup with light bitter taste. Thanks for sharing this technique 👍
yeah...the other method is a bit longer and stressful 🤣🤣
You're a wonderful couple, doing things together for greater success
Thank you so much! 👍❤️

You are so kind🔥🔥
We prepare bitterleaf this way in my country to prepare porridge plantains and cocoyams. Though at times the bitter is still bitter but it has a natural taste
the more you cook it the more the bitterness goes away
This is beautiful Thanks For sharing😊😊😊
thank you so much😀😀
Weldone you are doing very well nice and clean in such environment God bless you and family
Thank you so much 😊
This method of washing better leaves 🍃 good 👍 hope the bitterness is out
Thanks for sharing ❤
its trusted and tested👍👍👍
Great job.For How long did you cook the bitterleaf?
boiled for 10-15mins is ok 😁😁😁
Good but the idea of dropping the stems on the.soil is not for me.I feel is contaminating and.picks sand. That's why some bitter has particles of sand in them sometimes X
it was washed before processing and even during the cooking if there are still any sand, it will sink to the buttom of the pot👍
That's the reason Leah thoroughly washed and rinsed twice in plenty water inside the big bowl before boiling!
This way the sand settles at the bottom while the bitter leaf is removed.
Thanks Leah for showing us the easy way to remove bitterness from bitter leaf.
You are so natural!
I really love your presentation❤

But your people don’t cook bitter leaf soup, otherwise you will not dry it, you use fresh bitter leaf for bitter leaf soup , and it is not cut into that tiny bits . specialty of people from the Southeast of Nigeria.
What is Bitter Leaf? What tree is this, does it grow fruits and which country is this? Im from South Africa ,
Vernonia amygdalina; a perennial shrub commonly known as bitter leaf plant due to the bitter taste of its leaves.
Bitter leaf is native to the eastern and western parts of Africa where it grows wild along water ways, in grassland and at the edges of forests. It is a shrub or small tree up to 2 - 5m with elliptical green leaves up to 20cm. long.
