This is also close to Pat’s unique tone. Everyone forgets his tone and just lock onto the speed and lines. Thanks for this. Well done.

I appreciate you work, here. I spent a lot of time in some old Martino book before I finally "cracked the code."
Another of many possible observations: this particular song is the "So What" chord progression. And Martino's concerts included a lot of these long "modal" jams, Another observation is that his lines seem so simple on paper, but the way they come flying out when he plays them.....
It's a minor difference of opinion, but I would not say he is changing "scales" (tonality) to the melodic minor, but rather using a chromatic lead-in note (or that B-G# is an enclosure). He does the same thing on Sunny. Notice in the measure you identify at 10:58 and the one at 26.02 (Use Repitition) as he ascends, the line includes G-nat. The G# was just a blip.

Nice playing, I thought Pat minorised his lines though. His lines might imply mixo but it's just a mode from the major scale. It might not be what he was thinking and was just playing within the tonal center, treating Am as the ii chord. Great vid though and I got the ideas super helpful!
