Easy game, GG. I was curious as to why you chose to cap where you capped instead of Burgundy which gave control over the entire pocket from your capital. I know you don't like to cap on a one, but since you where surrounded by ones, I figured that wouldn't matter. It totally doesn't matter because you won anyway, but I was still curious.
Ever since I stopped capping on 1s in the second half of the turn order I've gotten way fewer games ruined by t1 cap hits

Had a game similar to this, green broke my scandi, I then threw every single troop I acquired into him. Still came second.

Bots are usually predictable. If I remember correctly they give the AI 4 or 5 different personalities

Haven't watched vid yet, but I would have definitely gone gascony cap. 1 point on West Africa and Spain with only green able to roll on a 7v4 on turn 1.
I was wondering about hwy Pete didn't do this as well. Maybe he just didn't notice it was a 1-point for a huge pocket?
the chance of losing 13 or less troops on a 76v10 cap roll is actually 42% in true random, so prob just a bit lower in balanced blitz
Whats the point reach for Grandmaster? I have been climbing from Novice to Master rank lately in this Game Mode, now reached 20k points and getting so nervous every time I play a game😅😅
There is no real point. It's an arbitrary threshold. It does allow you to compete in the GM tournament though.

Came second in a caps game against ... all beginners, and lost points ... hurmmmm. I think Pete might be right about the ranking system. I should add I got two kills and kept the game progressing...
How it works ?
@@dimadilemma I don't know exactly, I think basically you only get points for winning. If you beat higher ranked players you get lots. If you come second and get kills though, and all the other players are lower ranked you don't get anything. So yeah, I should have just capped stacked instead of taking the earlier kills.

I'm curious. Purely strategically. You have a keen sense. But. I'm wondering if you're overestimating the general players ability to make the same considered "right move" decisions? Sure, you know what the right move is with your breadth of experience and sound acumen for strategery! But do they? Most likely not 🙃. I'm assuming you're well aware of this, but just chose to narrate what is the most proficient strategical move to make for prosperity's sake. Or is it for some other reason? Genuinely curious.
Many times folks ask me to speak about what players 'should do' in different scenarios so it's helpful for them to see the board not only from my position but from the position of others to get more learning out of a single game.
