Nice. I love the finger bounce on the E in the A part ♥️ 👍🏻 this is a really great tune. I like to play it with the musical priest . Thanks for the tut! ☘️
Did you end up getting on the wait list for a keyed flute? I just squeaked in before they closed it and I’m now waiting for a five key with c thumb hole in pink ivory. Very exciting!
No, I am on the waiting list to win the lottery though - once that comes through it'll be time to go flute shopping hahahaha - good luck with yours, I'm sure it'll be awesome!
Depends on the situation - at sessions I play 95% flute because it's louder and more versatile. If I'm playing with singers who sing in non-traditional keys then it's all whistle.
The biggest thing is the embouchure - the fingerings are all the same so if you can play a tune on a whistle you can play it on the flute as long as you're getting good tone out of the embouchure. Spend most of your time on that and you'll be in good shape!
Great stuff. I love my Windward flute. It’s the nicest thing I own. :-)

whistletutor good plan with the lottery. I’m hoping that saving up over three years will make it hurt the wallet less. Cheers
Do you have a preference for the whistle or flute? Is one instrument more suited for some tunes?

The price of windward keyless can be purchased with other keyed flutes. How to convince yourself?
What key is it in?
Other point...i learned the reel from you on the first slow run through.
You're a good teacher.

Sean great video and lovely flute. Any thoughts you might like to share on moving up from a whistle to a flute?
