    Honestly, out of hundred of reviews I've watched about various topics related to guns and accessories, you are probably THE BEST REVIEWER on UA-cam or at least Top 3!!! I love your videos, patience in explaining topics, knowledge, details, and you take things to the next level with pictures, demonstrations, and thinking out side of the box to give the best video to your audience. GREAT, GREAT JOB!!!!! That is why I have already subscribed and look forward to when you post new review! Keep it coming!!!! THANK YOU!

    Just wanted to say in the plethora of horrifically bad youtube videos, this is not only one of the best I've seen on this Nikon scope, but one of the best educational videos I've seen here, period. Thank you for taking the time to make it. Just got mine today and watching your video answered many of my questions.

    Thank you for the time you spent making such an informative video.... Seriously, one of the best videos Ive seen on here. I was leaning towards this scope for my S&W 15-22 Sport and now I am going with it for sure. I research everything before I purchase... And like you said, reviews are very important. I subscribed and I thank you again......take care..

    Love this review man. You hit the nail on the head with everything I was curious about. You know, I love the different reticles like duplex, fine, mildot, but I realized, the best one is going to be the bdc reticle. Anyways, I'm loving all the information you put in. Many people don't put in drawings over pictures and explain it. Thank you for this!

    Great and informative video, thank you! Great scope so far, I just mounted mine on a S&W M&P 15-22 with P-series mounts and had it zeroed in 3 shots. Fantastic glass and light. Couldn't be happier for $119. I had to move my Primary Arms micro dot to a 45° mount so I can run both optics.

      longdread575 Uh...you may find that you can’t shoot close with your Nikon...the rail on the Ruger PRR is a 30 MOA, like the big bore PR. You can order a 0 MOA, but Ruger never actually delivers...backorder since Nov5.

    I have one for over a year on my marlin 39a. Very good scope for the money. I bought the pro-staff 2 rim-fire scope a few days ago for my other 39a. It is nothing like my old one . Too bad they are not producing the older one.

    I love Nikon. I had a few Nikon cameras. I still have an old FM1 that works fine. I had Nikon rifle scopes. I like Nikon scopes and I am researching which one to buy. I clicked on to your video and you went from the topic of Nikon rifle scopes to you and your wife's Nikon cameras. Im not looking to mount a camera on my rifle.

    22LR can be stretched out much further that people thanks, and accurately.
    I am able to shoot 3-3.5 inch groups at 300 yards.
    Try swapping your ammo and use ammo that is less that 1200 FPS.
    CCI standard velocity i shoot 1/4 inch groups at 100 yards with my Ruger precision rifle.

    I wanted a rimfire scope to introduce my children to shooting with a scope in preparation to hunt with one. I wanted s 3-9x40 to match the optics they would be using. I waited for for it to go under $100. I found it on Optics Planet fo $99.95 with a 15% discount code. Glad I waited and bought this. 10x the scope for 40% more.

  • @kanthanok
    @kanthanok 6 років тому

    I found it like... the App is not giving enough... had this Nikon for years.. nice scope but honestly say, it does give for what we paid for
    What the app is not covering: angle of shooting, various muzzle velocity from different Barrel and in bright day we often found the reticle is relatively blur or hard to focus
    I do accept it is overall a good scope and nice review but just wanna be sharing from experience to other fellow shooters

    Good review on an apparent good scope
    I'm looking now for a good rimfire scope, and I've narrowed it to this one, and the Vortex, but the Vortex Crossfire II only has a 2-7x32 shown for Rimfire rifles. So what to do.
    Obviously 3-9x40 is better than 2-7x32,..or is it ?

    • @JohnnyBoyCali
      @JohnnyBoyCali 8 років тому

      +Rafael Cedano I have this scope and it focused just fine at 25 yards. AS a matter of fact it was easier for me to zero it first at 25 yards and then zero it later at 50 yards. I first focused it at 25 yards and later when I moved the target out to 50 yards, it was still clear , so I didnt have to mess with the focus.

      I've had this on a 22LR for a few years. I think it would be a good scope for your rifle depending what you shoot with it. If you need half inch precision at 100 yards you'll have trouble getting there with adjustments that are half inch per click at 100 but you'll be close. Otherwise it would be fine. Just remember to use the SpotON app on either your cell phone or PC. BTW, he didn't mention this but you can print out small field charts that show the yardage for each circle and stick it on your rifle. You can also print out a bigger chart that shows the yardage at different zoom levels. Finally you can print out a detailed chart that shows yardage for top, middle and bottom of each circle as well a detailed ballistic charts with everything in it including drop drift TOF and click adjustments. SpotOn is amazing and its FREE.

    What people need to know in a scope review: does the scope track and return to zero, does it hold zero after getting bumped around. We don’t need a scope 101 tutorial and we don’t need to know you sighted it in. Does it track straight up/down and straight left/right? Are the clicks solid or mushy? Is the glass clear? Eye relief - hey you got that one. I don’t need an app tutorial for a scope. This could be 5-10 minutes.

      Pelase can answer this

    • @gunsaccessories8853
      @gunsaccessories8853  9 років тому +2

      Rafael Cedano It means that at 100 yds there will be no parallax. At say 50 yds there will be some parallax error, but it obviously wouldn't be as bad as if you were aiming at something 200 yds.

    • @SamuraiSpooky
      @SamuraiSpooky 9 років тому

      Guns & Accessories so for bird hunting (from 25 to 75 yards) what you recommend to me a 75yards parallax 4-12x40 or 3-9x40 With 50 yards parallax ? both are rimfire, Thx in advance

    • @SamuraiSpooky
      @SamuraiSpooky 9 років тому

      Guns & Accessories any advice?

    • @djedgejr
      @djedgejr 9 років тому +2

      +Rafael Cedano 3-9x40 with 50 yard parallax. Check ebay now, there is one for sale $99.00, which is a steal for this scope (#6725), item number 351534919317. The newer model has an auto focus eyepiece, which I do not like. Another option is the Nikon Prostaff Target EFR 3-9X40 which runs about $190.00. This is also a very nice scope, and it gives you the ability to focus down to around 10 yards by using the adjustable objective lens. You cannot go wrong either way in my opinion. One thing about the BDC, you have to be zoomed at power 9 on the eyepiece in order for the BDC reticle to work properly. Good Luck !

      No problem at all! I have one on my 30-06 and on my 300 win mag. No issues at all!!! Highly recommend, I have had no issues with holding zero, and I bang mine around quite a bit in my truck! I wouldn't put the rimfire version on these calibers. But the regular Prostaff, all day any day! It will hold up to a 338 and probably the 50 BMG.
