OMG, one egg cost 14 rubles which means ten eggs is about 140 rubles, and I don't really know anything about taxes (in Canada) for the store prices.
I believe in Russia we spend less money for food. For instance, fresh pork (not frozen) in my city costs 6-8 CADs. Watching video like this I really don't understand how much should earn for 5-people family in Alberta.

I'm living in Mexico right now and will be coming to Calgary in a few months and literally all of those fruits and vegetables you touched is PENNIES here. Everything is grown in Mexico and fruity taste so sweet and ripe! I can fill my fridge with just fruit and veg for the week for $20-30! I'm so scared to come back to Canada and these high prices
