I also commented this in your discussion tab: In Rayman 2, did you know that you can stand on lamp posts. In the Iron Mountains, (at the beginning) there is this section where you stand on this thing and walk to move on. There are purple lums in the area. Imagine if you could swing through the purple lums and land on one of the lamp posts that is above the exit or where you go next in the level. There are multilple lamp posts, so what if you could climb up them. I know it doesn't help with speedrunning. (I think) Also, I know, that it probably wouldn't work but would be cool if it did work. Also, your version might be different fro mine but there still might be any lamp posts.
Well, but is it any different than what I already did in my video? I jumped on the lamp, flied to the solid part of the water and explored a large area. But maybe I am not getting something. :P Sadly there is no way any of lamp posts could help skipping the boat swim part - we even have a way to fly there with an oob clip - but nothing is solid there.
I love this game so much! As a casual player I completed it like 20 times, thinking about starting speedrunning. Are there interesting glitches also in Rayman revolution? I'd love a video on that game

Sorry I am late to the party but @Darnok_PL at 21:49 I found the other day if you hover perfectly just as you start falling you can hover back up and outside the level geometry, I managed to get to the end room where the boss punches Rayman but I was replaying the level so the boss wasn't there.
@@DarnokPL I found a few things. If you are in Whale Bay and you are on the walking shell, there is a part where Carmen is underneath but that's besides the points. Jump once you are about to hit the wall and you will walk underwater. Also, a cool thing is in the Tomb of the Ancients, in the room with the web, you can climb on the web and glide down to the left and there is a pirate ship. It isn't anything too special and is filled with water but it's cool that you can go there. Also, before, in the Iron Mountains in the rotating platform with the switch, you can (at least in the Dreamcast version) swing on the purple lum and land on the pipe you just walked on. (Swing and face backwards and jump.)

Nie wiem czy lub w jakim stopniu ma on dostęp do kodu, ale sądząc po tym, że może np. edytować poziomy czy zmieniać status powierzchni (po wylądowaniu Rayman wykonuje przewrót lub nie), to myślę, że zaszedł daleko.

When i Had the Mobile Version on my Ipod And when you enter the first room where u meet clark i heard Running Footsteps similar to Rayman’s it sounded. like it was running in circles
At the end of beneath sanctuary or rock and lava there is a glich I did only one time: when u already beat the boss, the next time u replay the level, there is a portal at the end, so while I was flying, I went to the right or up (or another direction I don't remember now) to avoid the portal so I was lucky one time to go through the wall and I could revisited again the boss scene, but below down there was infinite rivers of lava until Rayman goes invisible.
Hmm, from what we know, if you get out of bounds in the section with the boss (before replaying the level etc.), the cutscene with Rayman running towards the masks runs (even if the boss is still alive) - maybe you got the same glitch, but just a different cutscene loaded. Might be still a nice find for Glitches Compilation 2022, if I can reproduce your glitch. Thx! :D
@@DarnokPL I'm hyped to see that compilation of 2022 :D but what I was trying to say is: I made that glitch when I was replaying the level, so I entered the boss room but in the cutscene area and there wasn't any boss or cutscene. I only did that one time of my life and I tried it a lot of times but since there wasn't load states it was very tedious. I hope u can reproduce that glitch cuz it was awesome for me, touching the lava and going deep down of the river of lava until Rayman goes invisible and all u can see is an orange void XD +About more details of the glitch: Maybe the game was lagging a little or maybe when I was going full to the right to evade the portal, maybe I touched at the same time the floor with a corner and maybe that pushed me to go through the wall or maybe I was shooting to the wall too...anyway that was all, it's just that I remembered more things for the glitch xD Pd. Yup, that's a nice glitch indeed (already known to us, but the gamer made it to Tomb - which is hard to do and we'd really like to get it consistent). The gamer's run died to the lum count though - which is the major obstacle now. ;)

Hmm, I have never experienced something like that - even in an old version from 2002. Probably the easiest solution would be to buy GOG.com version (it is cheap, a couple of dollars) - the most compatible.

If you enter the Jano's cave in the "void" state (dark screen, which happens, if you deathwarp and frame perfectly enter the menu at the moment Rayman "teleport" to his spawn point. On the video I used a cheat tool to get void state manually, because getting to Jano blind is hard, but it is possible (see my Treasure% run - I got it and got nice WR). The void state makes the cutscene trigger "you shall not pass" not appear, and the second one ("you know the name of this lace") is still working.

I intend to enter menu in the same frame, when Rayman is teleported back to the beginning - if I get black menu glitch (this is "void" glitch), the door at the beginning doesn't appear (some mechanics is broken in void state) and I can leave the room.

Yeah it wasnt on the PC. it was just a port of the Dreamcast version except with the PC music.

Hej, w Revolution nie będę grał - za brzydkie graficznie dla mnie i raczej się nie do niego nie przekonam. ;)
