I love the tasteful shot of each piece and the clean insert of their names! The translated conversation with the chef are cherry on top. Subscribed and looking forward to seeing more videos :)
The negitoro at 9:20 was the last piece of the omakase ($135). The rest afterward are all a la carte, except for the soup at the very end. The soup is part of the omakase
That's a tough one! Though they won't be outshining any of the Tabelog award-winning sushiya, some casual sushi spots in Tokyo are less enjoyable than here
The rude customers trying to out-scream one another. Maybe I'm too used to seeing higher-end sushi places in Japan and the professionalism they bring, but your sushi preparer seemed like he would rather be talking with the others. Would he have even been old enough to prepare sushi rice in Japan?
True. The atmosphere here is a bit more lively than Tancho's, but sometimes is fun when everyone around is so friendly and talkative. Glad you enjoy my videos!
Fantastic Video Jenny but diners chattering is so annoying, Maybe you can release this video again with some soothing Japanese music...I would love to see it again and again thanks in advance...greetings and love from India
Because that’s how it is traditionally done in Japan. No gloves. And if you think gloves equals cleanliness and no germs then you are gonna have a rude awakening if you do your research.

There is a pretty loud people.
Do you have any places like this you can recommend for Omakase best tasting in the New York area?
Unfortunately, I haven't had omakase in New York. It's definitely on my bucket list to try it in New York though
Food looks amazing! I’m confused what’s included in the omakase vs what you ordered ala carte. How much was your bill on top of the $300 omakase set?

Jenny, you have very good taste in food, everything looks so delicious.
Thank you so much!
$300 Pays just one of my overdue energy bills. My budget for my one per meal is about $3.
Felt this in my soul
$10 a piece. Every bite. $10 gone

Nice sushi but really noisy place for a relax meal
They generally have a full house, so it's somewhat expected to have a lively crowd with friendly and talkative chefs ☺️
the customers has no respect, too noisy.
Interesting that tourists are at the place.
For sure the food is excellent.
I'd rather eat at a local dive.
Food was definitely excellent ☺️

Dang Jenny you be going in!
Food looks amazing but the ambiance feel more like a food court at the mall. I like your tasting of Tancho much better.
True. The atmosphere here is a bit more lively than Tancho's, but sometimes is fun when everyone around is so friendly and talkative. Glad you enjoy my videos!
We were there in October didn't cost that much, it were same dishes.
Yea, $135 is the omakase. I added a lot of a la carte afterward haha
@@jennyfoodtravels Jenny can eat :).

@@jennyfoodtravels outstanding camera and editing. Food pic quality is top notch and the descriptions help a lot.
For $300 dinner these sushi chefs should be wearing hair nets. At least in Japan all sushi chefs do.
yeah, or shaved head. But then again this is in CA, everyone just dress more casually.
噢咦西😂
Just wet. Mouthwatering XD.
im too poor to be eating this
Why are the chefs not using hand plastic gloves when making food. Food hygiene is very important.
Because u cant feel the sushi.
