I thought the same thing. I was looking forward to James's solo and I was disappointed with this rendition of it, not even close.

Все шикарно: звук, барабаны, бас, ритм крышесносный. Но все любят каверы за близость к оригиналу - и в этом конкретном случае солячок увы послабее чем у метлы. Но во всем остальном - огнина 🔥

Подтяжка в основном риффе долна выполняться более плавно, и сильно - в этом вся фишка этого риффа. Ну и соляк в стиле Misirlou не очень подходит. А так, нормально. Бас вообще идеальный.

People should shut up about the solos, ok... There is a reason why it is called a solo. It's the part where you improvise with your own ideas... That is what makes covers fun to listen. Masterfully done, and I liked the improvisations at parts you did to give more of your own flair to the track....👌
Good cover. Little tip - the bends on the main riff sound off because you're doing 2 finger power chords. Use 3 - root, 5th, octave - for more strength to get those bends to sound better.
I'm used to do 3 strings power chords with adding quart on 6th string, but I do it only with 2 fingers (sometimes used simple power chords with 2 strings)
6th string - 5th fret
5th string - 5th fret
4th string - 7th fret
It's difficult to do with only 2 fingers and for this reason you can hear out of tune sounds
@@Brainlezz I think you have that backwards. 6th string 5th fret, 5th string 7th fret, 4th string 7th fret. That's a "full" power chord. You can get those bends in the main riff to be a bit stronger with that method.
Metalli Coustic, quart lower, root and 5th sounds more powerfull than standart 3th strings power chord, for example in interlude of Spit Out The Bone Metallica uses quart lower power chords.
And I think ''full'' power chord consist of 4th strings - quart lower, root, 5th and octave.

Metalli Coustic, More strings only complicate bending. It's a practice, James and Kirk play this riff with 2 fingers power chords and bends sound good.
