Man listen, she made sht happen. I was born in Newark in 1983. My generation came up in the heart of the crack epidemic. Getting money was getting money! I had 10-12 yr old friends who had to take care of their strung out parents, the homes, and younger siblings all while protecting themselves so they weren’t thrown into the system. We ate. We stayed fresh. We kept the lights on. We hustled. By the grace of God we made it 😉. I ain’t mad at her.

She's not a boss she's a sucker who went to prison spread her cheeks and bent down and coughed like every other felon. My folks black folks look at people like this like Freeway Rick Ross, etc and put them on a pedestal when the real heros were the grandparents and foster parents that raised these felons children when they got caught. Don't show me this person, show me all the people she stole from, and the people who supported her family when she was behind the wall and when she got out. Show me the mothers and fathers that were humble enough to work a 9 to 5 and stay out the streets and raise their children. She didn't get caught the first time. She got greedy and paid the consequences. I don't envy anyone who put the game over their children. She wasn't surviving she was greedy.

Can’t be that smart if she got caught. She would only be smart if she used that to venture into something else before getting caught but she didn’t. She had all that money before she got jammed & depended on someone she didn’t know to bail her out & the friends ratted. They were the smart ones

In the 80s and 90s even our drug addicts functioned differently. You would be surprised who did drugs before and after work but they worked. There was always an older person who everyone knew had their head on straight and drop gems even if you didn’t listen. But we were raised with hustle and drive, if you got knocked down you would wipe yourself off and start again (hopefully learning from your mistake).

This woman is literally crying and expressing regret for what she did, and saying how it wasn’t worth it. Yet everybody is commenting about how much of a “boss” she is and praising her and saying how they would do the same thing
Idk why the fascination with getting fast money has us in such a chokehold as a people. Even when the people who did it says that it’s not worth it, we just ignore that part and hyper focus on the money part. That’s why we keep repeating the same cycles generation after generation. Focused on the wrong things

She stated in the first minute of her interview GREED.
EVERY culture and race has a level of fascination for money because Poverty is a killer. Most people are born into poverty or just above the poverty level and don't want to live like that forever. The wealthy elite have the same fascination because they're born into wealth and can't imagine living any other way. You can judge and criticize but we all have a form of Greed or Desire for more in one area of our life. We live in a society of Greed and our government operates on Greed. 🤷🏽‍♀️All you can do is raise your children in a different way and not repeat your own generational curses. We all have them.

Not to mention MANY of us are broken and traumatized adults who had a rough upbringing. Black people as a whole suffer from PTSD and nobody can convince me otherwise. We are so judged by each other and others. Do we need to do better Absolutely. Can we do better Absolutely but we're still struggling for respect and dignity in this world. In spite of we are a Beautiful Brilliant Race and I will never give up on us.
