  • In this video I’m gonna show you how to fix your Nintendo red blinking light. I’ll give you three tips. If these don’t work, you can try these steps:
The blinking red light in a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) usually indicates that there is a problem with the system. Here are some steps you can try to fix it:
    1. Clean the game cartridge: Remove the game cartridge from the NES and clean the contacts on the bottom with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab. Reinsert the cartridge and see if the system works.
    2. Check the power supply: Ensure that the power supply is plugged in properly and that the outlet it is plugged into is functioning. You can also try using a different power supply if you have one available.
    3. Try a different game: If the blinking light persists, try using a different game cartridge to determine if the problem is with the game or the system.
    4. Replace the 72-pin connector: If none of the above steps work, the problem may be with the 72-pin connector inside the NES. You can purchase a replacement connector and install it, or take the system to a repair shop for assistance.
Note: It's important to be careful when opening up your NES, as it can be delicate and easily damaged. If you're not comfortable doing so, it's best to take it to a professional for repairs.
