I love the fact that these tales are actual Scottish Tales and not made up stories . The tales are wonderful , and your narration is stellar sir .
My great grandfather was the landscape gardener at Leith Hall in the 1920s. It’s a truly haunting place. He is buried in the Kirkyard across the railway line .
What an awesome legacy of labor and art he left
How truly incredible I would hear more about it .Happy Christmas 🎄
Truly incredible history!
His name was Charles Watson and I’m very proud of him. Thank you.
@@Iain1983 Thank you for sharing that .Your grandfather sounds amazing and would have been wonderful having him as grandfather ❤️ Happy Christmas 🎄
What an incredible job you do blending narrative, images and music! Thank you for your work.
My pleasure 😊 thank you for the lovely feedback.
Lang may yer lum reek. Translation: Long may your chimney smoke. It's a traditional Scottish way to wish someone a long, healthy and prosperous life. :)
Holiday Greetings to you and yours, and a hope for more spooky things to come in 2024,
~ Jon in rural BC, Canada
thanks for the great stories
What an awesome voice you have! I could listen to you narrate all day! 🏴👏👏👏
So pleased I found this channel. Fantastic readings. 👌👌👌❤❤
Such lovely tales!
Pretty much all I’ve gotten out of the Reformation era is Protestants hated fun/happiness lol!
Don't get me started on Cromwell! What a hater of joy that man was!
My grandparents were from Edinburgh before they immigrated to Canada in 1928. I absolutely love your channel and saved your Christmas ghost stories for Christmas Eve! I wasn't disappointed! Truly spooky! Merry Christmas from Montana, USA!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family my friend, may 2024 be even better!
Here's to the continued success of your channel! 🍻
Thats very kind, thank you 😊 Merry Christmas to you too!
Here I am at 3:40am Christmas morning laying down with these tales
The only thing better than some good scary ghost stories at Christmastime are those stories being told with a scottish accent! A lovely Christmas present! Happy Holidays! ✨🎄🕯️🕊️❄️✨
Well done. Very good. Thank you. Subscribed.
Thank you 😊
Well, this was a fantastic Christmas gift. Thanks for sharing these stories and have a merry Christmas! I can't wait to see what you bring us in 2024 😁

Awesome job thumbs up 👍 happy new year 🎉
So love listening to ghost stories... my grandma used to tell ghost stories to us kids and scare the ... out of us 😂. What a delight listening to you on this second Christmas Day... more so since I love nothing more than everything Scottish and Scotland... a Scottish voice telling eerie stories is such a delight. Thank you so much for this channel and for this video in particular.

Thank you for sharing. I love the incredible narration. I found myself quite enthralled by the tales.
Watching this on Christmas Eve, I am reminded to embrace the light of Christ's love and to become a point of light shining in the darkness. Blessed Christmas greetings to all who read this.🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Brilliant. I saved watching this for the perfect moment. Many thanks E.E. Happy New Year 🎉 Just watched - O M G! BRILLIANT ON EVERY LEVEL!
Aww, thank you Tamsin. You're a legend. I hope you had a lovely festive season? I'm so sad its over.
@@eerieedinburgh bless your heart. Every moment counts my friend. Peace to you and your family. I loved your message of kindness. Again...truly brilliant ⭐️
Thank you!!! These were wonderfully haunting stories. Merry Christmas and happy New Year my friend 🫂💜
Mr Eerie Sir, thankU so much. I love your epilog, reminding us to move forward with love, and how haunting are the lost opportunities. It IS frightening to encounter the supernatural. But perhaps it needn't be. I once tried speaking to It, saying I love you/We love you. It helped me feel more composed. I don't think i am particularly talented in that regard. I tend to think we all have the facility. It's a question of listening. My life held tragedy, my heart was torn open, perhaps making me more vulnerable. Or perhaps just wishful thinking🪢💔🎃🎄
thanks for that
excellent stories throughout the whole year, keep em coming
Lang may yer lum reek
A perfect video for those preferring a more gothic themed dark Christmas like myself
Indeed.
Very well made ghostly tale's for any given day thanks 👀
Just love a good ghostly tale and your narration is just "the biz". ❤️
More fantastic stories! Thank you and hope you have a wonderful Christmas 🎄
Thank you 😊 Merry Christmas to you too 🎅
Fantastic as always .
Thank you. Merry Christmas 🎅
I remember when I was a wee girl my dad had to work nightshift so he could see me opening my presents since people worked on Christmas Day!
Thank you for finding this wonderful way to share your talents for story-telling and history to bring us these delightful, if spooky tales. I don’t find them scary as much as intriguing. My paternal Grandmother was Scottish and my maternal Grandmother still had the shawl of our relative on that side who came over from Scotland to marry. Hence my DNA is mostly Scottish. (Those mincemeat pies & tarts were always part of our Christmases)!
Thank you for your videos & I hope to hear more from you in the coming year, as well.
Merry Christmas & God Bless!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊 merry Christmas and a happy new year to you too 🎅
From our Clan to yours. Thank you again for all your hard work. Merry Christmas and Happy Hogmanay 😊 ❤

Sorry (I bumped send) I just wanted to add, I Love Your Voice!❤
Nollaig Shona and a Happy and prosperous New Year to you. 🎄These tales are fascinating and are ones that I've not heard before. Christmas and the supernatural seem to have it's own magic and mysterious history. I look so forward to your videos as they are so well done and the cinematography is incredible. Thank you for sharing your wonderfully amazing talents with us. 😃
Your voice is amazing 😊
A happy new year to you. May there be more interesting Scottish ghost stories.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Hapy New Year dude! Here's to swooning more to your voice in 2024!
Hoping all who read or listened to these Christmas stories had a very Merry Christmas. May 2024 hold peace, joy and prosperity for the coming year!
Merry Christmas to you also and aw ra best for 2024.🥳
Interesting stories. Coming from the Pacific Ocean, I heard many stories related to the ocean and the tragedies of loss of human lives. I am very aware and never feel comfortable around the sea and ocean.
Good morning thank you for the awesome stories. I wish you a very merry Christmas.❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Susan. Merry Christmas to you, too 🎅
@@eerieedinburgh 💙💚❤️💚❤️
So good to hear your tales on this, Christmas Eve. All the best to you Sir. ✨️🎄✨️
Found you and subscribed, today. Your stories are great, but what annoys me most is that even what i now know to be the better known history of Scotland, was kept secret from me, (a mere sasanach). I never learnt about the clearances, i didn't know who Wallace was until i stood at the base of his statue in Stirling. Any battles lost by the English against the Scots were just not taught to us. By the same stupidity of my school history teacher, i didn't learn about the Irish potato famine, the mass exodus of both Scots, Irish and Welsh to America. We loved Edinburgh, Glasgow, Ayr, Aberdeen and Fort William (went there several times, we loved it). I am now 68 but still learning. Great show, i will binge listen to others now.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year from Sydney Australia 😊
What a beautiful voice...the Scottish accent is beautiful really draws you in ..like your sitting around a fireplace listening to these stories ...merry Christmas and a wonderful new year to you and everyone..
Too kind, thank you 😊 Merry Christmas to you too. All the best for 2024.
No, no - thank you. As an Australian, of Scottish heritage, you connect me to my ancestral past. So I owe you thanks. Merry Christmas, enjoy the season.🎉😊❤
Thank you very much for your wonderful video. Listening to your lovely voice telling these Scottish stories so eloquently was wonderful during the dark silent early hours of Christmas Day. Sadly I am alone but hearing these stories was eerily comforting. Thank you again, I look forward to listening to more of your videos. I wish you a very Happy Christmas and joyful New Year - from a little dark corner of England.
Happy Christmas Mr. Eerie!!
Happy Christmas to you too 🎅

Merry Christmas and a happy Hogmanay 🎉 Thanks for another excellent video ❤
As a medium, I can comfortably say that Scotland is one of the most intensely spiritual feeling places that I have ever stayed in. There is only one other place that is more intense for me and that is Chester.
Merry christmas to you and a happy new year, greetings from hawick😊,love history, first time,Eric faulkner would like to see this taught in class,i believe your the man for the job, thank you so much.😊
I heard the Bothy one on Uncanny by the guys it happened too!

Have a wonderful christmas and a happy new year. 🎄🎁
Holiday greetings from Sweden❤
Merry Christmas and Blessed 2024 .Thank you for sharing and the hard work you put in .Love from Canada ❤
The ghost of Leith that appeared to Elizabeth Byrd appeared solid. I wonder if he is, to some extent, coporeal when in this state? If so, could something be done for his pain?
Merry Christmas🎄 and a Happy New Year✨️🎉✨️ to you and yours.
Thank you. Merry Christmas to you too. All the best for 2024.
Never miss a video of yours now. Love the stories and narration. Thank you.
Thank you for these wonderful tales I have also learnt why Christmas was not allowed in my house dad never explained. I was a teenager when after years of arguing my dad came home from work and threw a revolting silver tinsel tree at me in disgust 😢 only after his death I began searching to discover my grandfather was a church of Scotland minister , I never knew him but why dad never explained I'll never know
I really enjoy your videos, thank you for presenting Scottish ghost stories to all of us. I haven't heard of any of them so it's really enjoyable learning new stories. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Years. Please keep creating more videos.
Thanks for the lovely feedback 😊 merry Christmas and all the best for the new year. Lang may yer lum reek.
I just found your channel today, on Christmas Eve. Its wonderful! Merry Christmas!
Thank you for the new stories. Most of them are new to me, save for the Tay Bridge tale, and that I don't believe! Howsoever, old time North British loco crews were very reluctant to take No 224, 'The Diver' as she became known across the bridge for years afterwards. Ironically, fished out of the Tay (with difficulty - she seemed rather reluctant to leave it. Perhaps that's what worried her crews) No 224 went on to have a long, useful life.
The ghoul that visited Alie. ( I cant spell the Gaelic version of her name) sound's scary a bit like Herne the Hunter in Windsor great park.i hope she learned to change her foolish ways. Great story telling by you as always and i thank you for them l look forward to hearing many more
Beautiful xx thankyou ❤
Merry Christmas! 🎄
❤❤👍👍👍👍happy Christmas your stories made mine
Only just found your channel today (2nd Jan) and am already Subscribed - great video and story telling - thank you ! (*_*)
*Merry Christmas*
🌲❤🎄
I certainly do love Christmas ghost stories. I had known that Christmas had once since been banned. I had heard that it had also been banned, because of it's pagan roots.
Awesome stories and storytelling. Thank you for sharing!
I love this and never thought about Christmas being banned because of Protestant reformation. I actually thought it was our pagan roots. I am American by birth but Scots by blood! Also, Idk about Henrietta Leith Hay. I certainly feel honored, as my given name is Henrietta 😊❤Excellent video and new sub xx🎉
Happy Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas mr Edinburgh. Thanks for the entertainment. Been a godsend whilst I wallow in my seasonal flu. 🎅
