Imagine if you were a malaysian. The whole world seems incredibly expensive.
Ok, Turkey is cheap. But their cheap accomodation is not that modern.
NE Asia is as bad as western Europe. Australia is slightly better.
Incredibly hotels in Africa and India are more expensive than in KL.
Even Bangkok and Jakarta are more expensive than KL. Unless it is street food.
There a lot's more beautiful places here to explore. By the way, did you read "do's and don't" about a country before pay a visit? You can refer to Kenabroad, a nice sensitive German guy to know more about this country and other Asians country too. Good luck.
