Beautiful KT. So much has changed since the last time I stayed at Jalan Panji Alam in 1981-1982, very near Pantai Batu Buruk, very near the city centre.
@@styflymalaysia Just to share a bit of my past. My late dad was a senior police officer, so we stayed in many places. I was born in Alor Gajah, then moved to Melaka city. After that we moved to Tanah Merah, then moved to KB. Then, I lived in Kuantan with my late grandma for a year. Then, I moved to KL to join my family that lived in Ampang Jaya, which then we moved to Damansara Heights. Later we moved to KT and lived there about two years. I gone to college and my late parents and my younger brother lived in Jakarta for few years when my late dad was a diplomat. My late mom, suffering breast cancer, died in Jakarta and her body was brought home to Malaysia and laid to rest in Kuantan. My late dad few years later married to an Indonesian lady from Jakarta, came back to Malaysia, stayed for a while in Kuala Kubu when my dad pursued his study at the Police Academy. Later we moved back to KL in Damansara Heights. After some years, when working in KLCC, I bought a middle income apartment in Bandar Baru Sentul. Left KLCC, got my 1st depression, then joined MIDA hoping to work and live in Europe but after some years, posted to Mumbai for 3 years, coming back to KL with a 2nd depression, lost my job and my apartment. Retired early in 2013 and moved to Kuantan from 2014 until present. Life is a journey, sometimes it's best left it that way. 😀

@@styflymalaysia Yes it was. I moved from KL with family to KT in 1981, sat for SPM, then joined lower six in 1982 for a while then entered ITM JO. 😀
