37 days left, the suspense is growing.
To any aspiring pilots, this is spot on. I went to a great trainer but sold myself short on time and have experienced every issue talked about in this video. I'm the type of person that catches on quickly and easily to everything I do. Kiting took about 30 minutes to figure out my left from right while reversed but then I progressed nicely. However weather did not cooperate and I managed only 1 flight during training and crunched for time, so I went home with confidence but then the mistakes pile up. I was over confident and this sport very quickly humbled and kinda scared me. Oscillations coming in to land turned into butt landing after butt landing. The motor on my back was very intimidating and these things all added up and basically cost me a full season of flying. I trained in April that year and only took 13 flights. Something clicked the 2nd season and I had around 70 flights and now on my 3rd and cannot fly enough. Just advice from someone who has been there and had setbacks, don't sell yourself short on training, make time and don't be in a hurry. This is different from anything you will ever do.
I appreciate your humility and bravery in expressing these experiences you had. Good lessons for life, I figure, not just for doing a para-motor flight!
Full throttle right and left turns in training.Thats awesome man!!
Students are looking great man!
I went to super training, not structure. The first time I put a motor on was when I flew it. No weather or air law training. The first time dell mentioned landing was on the radio when landing. Trevor you got it going on. Looks very professional
Dell is the rich man's Kaptain Kurt
Transitioning PG pilot. Bought a Kona 2 and a LAF Atom 80. 150lbs pilot weight. Flown ridges and thermals for 30 years. I like the look of your training! I like the sound of your safety!!!
Love your Vids, Trevor. Man, that background is awesome!
Really solid training Trevor!!
I had to teach myself because over 20 years ago there were no instructors …. If I had to teach someone, this would be the way to do it.
24:00 "Not flying and wishing you flew, is better than flying and wishing you didn't fly." #truth #trevor_steele
Very well done! Beautifully detailed progression.
What a great video. I went to Texas to get my training by a guy named Trevor as well. I sure wish he would have trained me this why. What a great class. Stay Classy!
I like how you work on only allowing the good muscle memory. Looks like a great program. Looking forward to visiting one day.
Terrific stuff. Thanks.
Trevor..Excellent job on explaining the training process...Your practices are also very good...If I wasnt already a pilot I would come there :)
Great stuff!
Thanks for posting.
Thank you!
Yes!!!! Ppg for the win.
Your approach and strategy to training is amazing, I wish I had you as an instructor when I learned to fly. I will definitely be sending any aspiring pilots your way in the future!
I appreciate that man!
Omg. Love this video
Ppg is in my future
Using the equipment with eyes closed is a pre-requisite for all activities. These guys unlocked the human skills' cheat code = repeat until you build muscle memory. I recently taught myself bouzouki this way. And I tell my kids = smart is he who can repeat the same task x1000 times.
this is awesome
Sharing this with friends...
Also wondering can you purchase the paramotor, wing, and harness etc there at the school?
Hey there’s me at 8:00 😂
This looks incredibly thorough. So if a student is ready for their first flight on day five, y’all will allow them to go for it?
I have almost 40 hours now but still need practice on basic things like landings. My landings are still terrible. Flying is the easy part.
Awesome
Speaking of first. 😁
any plans on incorporating wheeled/trike training
Already incorporated wheels! Will add a wheel only class in the future.
Is this a repeat from a while back?, or was that in a short?
This is all new
I didn't just see a guy in Cowboy boots 😂😂😂
Yeah lol
