Suddenly I am transported back to the early 2010's days of beauty gurus. Your tutorial feels incredibly nostalgic, and I really appreciate it for that 💗
You are absolutely stunning. You have fundamentally changed how I’ve seen makeup and my own self image. Thank you for just being a lovely human being. ❤❤❤
Celebrity-focused makeup homages that urge you to do your own bespoke version of their look - ie. this one, or Alexandra Anele's Monica Bellucci tutorial - rather than try to restructure your whole face are so encouraging. Weirdly, I was born with an abundance of zygomatic real estate - like Sabrina - and I find that if I go all in with the blush - like Sabrina - it executes a hostile takeover of my entire face. Probably because my features are sharper and more severe, whereas hers are round and doll-like. The variations in human faces are so fascinating, you know? You were talking about your downturned eyes, which I think are absolutely stunning - they lend you such a fragile, silent-film era vibe.
Hearing a crow go off as you applied the lash rocketed me into the STRATOSPHERE. The way i was cackling. the comedy. yes. Absolutely. also love how when you were talking about the glitter i was all *nods* half magic glitter puck and you went "half magic glitter puck" and i went YEAH BAYBEE! I stand by. That I liked your fluffy thick brows. This is one of those things I'm willing to die on a hill about. Unrelated to everything else entirely, I do really love the way you explain things. You just cut through the bullshit and it feels like an older sister/cousin you're watching do their makeup as they pass on important wisdom. if you'd been around in the 2010s you would've saved a lot of us from very bad mistakes. My makeup sin was using matte foundation with insufficient skincare and then setting my ENTIRE face with WHITE PRESSED POWDER. We listen and we dont judge but we do make faces, say "oh honey no" and pour beverages of choice in deep concern.
this looks SO GREAT on you!!! and I barely know who Carpenter even is - I know she has a popular song? but I mostly know her for her hair and makeup lol and this makes me want to try it. But blush is my favorite. lol
I used to watch all the popular beauty gurus shall we call them with millions of subs your so refreshing and honest I only watch you and Robert Welsh and Lisa Eldridge now x
You do what you need to do for your brows and I'll do what I need to do for mine and we will circle back and meet in the middle was such a funny line. I need to remember that the next time some corrects my makeup, clothes or how I exercise. Also the black hair with the false lashes and red bow is giving Kiki.
You can always turn the volume up! Unfortunately this is just my speaking voice. I’ll have to save for a proper speaker to help the balance once I get into it.
I am a chronic blush blindness victim and I HAVE NO SHAME

I love your video but I feel like your voice is a little too quiet, I'd love to listen to you while doing my own makeup but then I won't hear you 😢
