ZURRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII MY BELOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH god I'm crying again. as someone who had the genuinely indescribable honour of being able to read an advance copy, allow me to assure everyone this book is worth it. You laugh, you cry, you love, you feel, you mourn, you hope, you seethe, you cheer. as a compliment I will never stop comparing the depth and beauty of the world building to Tolkien. Lord of the Rings is my autistic special interest so I make this comparison with deepest respect and love. The characters, even the most minor ones, still breathe and feel like entire characters, just ones we haven't seen all of yet. Many parts of the internet joke about how Hiromu Arakawa, mangaka of Fullmetal Alchemist, created entire backstories we never see any of. This is the same. If you are someone who wants characters to care about, this book has so many. This book has it all. Heartbreak and elation, revenge and justice, love and loss, victory and defeat, the highs and lows, the fantasy and reality of life. I cannot wait to read this as a published work, and I am truly convinced that this series will one day go on to become iconic and beloved. May the winds bless you all!
