- Even though we knew this was coming, it STILL took Smegg by surprise! For as much as we've been looking forward to the live-action Ahsoka series on Disney +, it seemed like the perfect first reaction video. Straight out of Star Wars Celebration, we get our first full look at most of our beloved Ghost crew, along with some incredibly fascinating villains.
Ahsoka will air this August on Disney +, and we can't tell you enough how much we just can't wait!

The droid at the end is from The Clone Wars. He was in a single arc as a droid who taught younglings to construct lightsabers. He is voiced by David Tenant.
I thought he was the friend of chopper for a minute.

Huyang is the lightsaber making droid, having him back is sweet to see. Anyway great reaction man, this trailer was fuckin fantastic, one of the best Star Wars trailers. Can’t wait for this, august isn’t too far away

I wouldn't make the assumption that there's anything being retconned. I always try and urge folks to re-watch the Epilogue to Rebels. Sabine knows Ahsoka is showing up, she knows what the mission is, they've spoken before. I believe that "before" is in this trailer.
100% Great point! You can never really tell, by design, in trailers. Either way, I can't wait to find out!
Those who are hating on this series are very narrow-minded (imo). This series is gonna be amazing, thank you Dave Filoni!

It's so easy for negativity to spread online. It doesn't take much for it to bloom. Star Wars was the first film I saw, and by far my favorite franchise out there. I won't say I'm in love with every TV episode and movie, but I can never believe how much time I get to spend in this universe these days. I am forever grateful for that!
@@SmeggCo EXACTLY! I despise the sequels writing and plot but I like the charcters of Rey and Finn. There are so many different opinions out there these days and that's okay, but toxic fans just take it way too far.

Sadly this show is one of the last projects that Ray Stevenson was in before his untimely death. He plays the big guy with the orange lightsaber named Baylon who is an order 66 survivor.
Unfortunately Ashley eckstein just doesn’t physically embody ahsoka not even a little bit. Like casting Robert Downey jr as mace windu
i think that part of this show will be set before the epilogue of Rebels and part of it after. I think we are going to see how Ahsoka "The Grey" becomes Ahsoka "The White" that shows up at the end of Rebels. i think it's leading to Ahsoka accepting that she is a Jedi. A huge reason Ahsoka say the famous line "im no jedi" is cause her view of the Jedi are the Jedi Order which are basically a shadow of what they were before(them being intertwined in war and politics which changed the order a lot thanks to Palpatine manipulation of the order). I think the journey she will go in the temple will change her mind.
I've certainly heard that there will be some flashblacks and time jumps, you very well could be right!
