Bang & Olufsen had some amazing chic and sleek Hi-Fi equipment back in the late70s/early 80s, they were ahead of their time in style and in audio fidelity. Love the flat-look TV which was very much In back then. Thanks for sharing.
Fun to see they tried to mimic a cylindrical Sony Trinitron tube while it holds a ball-shaped tube from Philips.
I'm not totally in on this yet. The smoke glass reduces brightness, and 1986 is not peak phosphor development yet, so less saturated colours and more burn-in risk. Also bigger TV's have more on hours. Amazed myself with some KVM-14... models from Sony lately. They also take up little space.
1986 was a great year. Then I was born.
I gotta say my favourites are the models MX4000 (Specifically the 4002) & MX7000 of all models I have had in the MX series when comparing image quality and features.
I have almost all models in the MX series.
MX1500, MX3000, MX4000, MX5000, MX6000, MX7000, MX8000
My MX5000 was the worst of them, so I would stay clear of that model. It seems to have had some inferior components and an outdated chassis to run the actual CRT.
As a bonus note, I really liked the B&O Avant 28" for Widescreen stuff (Fantastic sound!) and also the Beovision 1 from 2000's was great image and sound.
My favorite is the MX4200
They are great TV,s I have mostly Sony trinitrons though the geometry is often out on them .

Hi. You have to remove the rear part of the tv then u see at bottom of the chasis several adjustemt thorx screws. Watch... Ok i am going to do a video...
