    Adam Berzowski demonstrates the Yamaha P-115 digital piano at Kraft Music.
    The Yamaha P-115 digital piano delivers Yamaha touch and tone in a compact design that is ideal for home, home-studio, or stage use. Its Pure CF Sound Engine is based on meticulous samples of a Yamaha 9' CFIIIS concert grand piano, while the GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) weighted key action offers a heavier feel in the low end and a lighter touch at the top, just like an acoustic piano. For practice and exploration, the P-115's Pianist Styles turn your simple chords into a full piano accompaniment, and its Drum Rhythms give you a fun metronome alternative. Sound Boost tweaks the EQ to help the P-115 project when using its built-in, 2-way stereo speaker system. The versatile USB to Host port and line-level Aux outputs allow a variety of connections, from amplifiers to iPads®. Yamaha's Controller App for iOS devices provides access to the P-115's settings with an easy-to-use, touch-screen interface. Choose from two stylish, contemporary color options: Black (P-115B) and White (P-115WH).
    Kraft Music's exclusive digital piano BUNDLES ship with everything you'll need to set up and play. If you have any questions, please give us a call. Our expert sales staff will be happy to assist in choosing the digital piano bundle to best fit your needs.

    Bought this model two weeks ago from Kraft Music. It was delivered in three days and I have played for hours since getting it. Wonderful instrument. Thanks for all the great information.

      +Herb Spear brother does it feels like real acaustic in touch? ivory feel?

    • @tenders
      @tenders 8 років тому +4

      +Kapil Rathod "Ivory," no, but it's been 50 years since you could buy a piano with a real ivory feel, and the ivory-ness of the touch may be one of the least important aspects of the action. I would say almost any $500+ digital piano these days has better overall touch than all but the most expensive upright acoustic pianos, but that is a highly subjective determination that takes weeks to really decide. I own this keyboard and a much more advanced (but pre-iPad) Casio cabinet keyboard. The actions are different from each other but are both acceptable. I prefer the Casio features but the Yamaha tone. I have never played an upright piano that I wanted to own, even ones in good condition with ivory keys.

    Very enjoyable, thank you. What song was played at around 12:00. Almost sounded like it should be a Debussy composition, would love to know what it is so I can learn to play it. Adam, thank you again.

    I bought this very piano and also a cable to hook it up to my speakers. The cable is a 1/4 to RCA. It doesn't play from the speakers at all after hooking it up. I don't get what I'm doing wrong, the 1/4 left and right males are plugged into the back of the piano, and the RCA males to the speakers. But, if I plug the 1/4 side to the FRONT of the piano, it works. Are the ports on the front and back different? How can I get my piano to play on speakers with an RCA input??
    Please, someone with a brain help me! Lol

      It's not the piano, I think it may have been the kind of cable I was trying to use. I still don't quite understand it, lol. I've never used those kinds of cables before. But the piano is actually great, I just don't know what I'm doing lol. It sounds amazing when you use headphones or external speakers.

    We had one of these but the weighted keys seemed too heavy compared to natural movement of acoustic piano keys.

      If you're talking about the tablet, it's an app that will give beats to play for and metronome (that tick noise you hear) for practicing. Hope this helps :)

      +jerold weis it is cheap.. sub $500 now... great to learn on.. and if I could play like him and get sound like this - I'd be quite satisfied for the price!

    • @CarlyWaarly
      @CarlyWaarly 8 років тому +2

      +jerold weis : Dont see how it sounds cheap, it is sampled off Yamaha's classic grand piano and recognised as one of the best digital pianos in its class that punches above it's weight. Sounds like your speakers on your system do not do it justice.

    • @tenders
      @tenders 8 років тому

      +jerold weis The keyboard contains a couple of piano versions, some of which sound more "imposing" than others. Not sure which one he's using here or how he's adjusted the other settings, but there are several that definitely don't sound cheap in person...although they might sound unimpressive over computer/monitor speakers.

      A bit more space/reverb may help the effect, it's a bit artificially dry, which might be why. This DP sounds great, IMO.

    • @DoubleGauss
      @DoubleGauss 6 років тому

      Maybe to you a $120,000 CFIIIS 9ft concert grand is a cheap piano because that's what you are listening to, except the sound is coming from its slightly poorer cousin, the P115.
