What a cool spot I’ve never heard of. TY for sharing. And thanks for the reminder, as a youngster we always called them lightning bugs but it seems now a days they are fireflies.
Fort Clinch is a great park. In the area and not too far away are a couple of Jacksonville city parks. Huguenot Campground or Hanna Park Campground might also be worth checking out if you can't book Fort Clinch Campground because of its popularity.
I’ve never been to this state park, but I’ve heard great things about it; and now, with your great video about it, I want to go even more now! You guys are definitely top-notch now in your filming and editing skills. Well done! And, btw, they’re LIGHTNING BUGS! 😁 (I was born & raised in New York, so I don’t know if it’s a regional thing on what they’re called.)
Very cool fact that Joel is related to Ulysses S. Grant! Have you ever been to his home in Galena, Illinois? My family is from there and it is so awesome! Great video! One to put on my list for sure! BTW, I'm related to Calista Flockhart, who also has roots in Galena!
Great video folks, we have Proyect hero event 🚴🏻♂️may 6 , we found space in Huguenot camp ground, but definitely we are going to visit fort clinch, love to see ya in your mtb 🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️👌 thank you for sharing your experience. Blessings 🙏
We do stake the canopy down in case the wind picks up. If the rain is not too bad, everything will stay pretty dry. When it starts blowing sideways, we fold up the chairs and get in the camper. 😄
Always fun to watch your adventures
I am from the north we called them fireflies . Gave you a sunset without the clouds 🌇 . Very nice
We enjoy your videos! You’re both so pleasant! So y’all asked…. We call them “Lightning bugs”!😂
Your videography on this episode is next level with the mics and the 360 cam! Now I’m dying to go camping here.
Thanks!!
Team Amy on this one, in Florida it is lightning bugs!
Lightning bugs . Nice looking camp. Plenty to do.
I ❤your adventures so much. Thank you for sharing.

Great video. You can see why that park is booked out so far in advance. Ellen says they’re lightning bugs but we all know they are fireflies lol
After this video, it will be even harder to get a spot there! 😀
Enjoyed watching! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Lightening bugs!!
Looks like a great place
You guys eat so well!
When I go camping, it's oatmeal for breakfast. Come to think of it, that's usually what I have for breakfast at home! 😀
Lol we don’t even eat breakfast at home. Only when camping!

Interesting how we develop different routines for different circumstances. 😊

Hello, my Friends! 😊
As a native Floridian it’s lightening bugs.

Funny, I never see lightning bugs in my part of the state!
Very cool fact that Joel is related to Ulysses S. Grant! Have you ever been to his home in Galena, Illinois? My family is from there and it is so awesome! Great video! One to put on my list for sure! BTW, I'm related to Calista Flockhart, who also has roots in Galena!
That's cool! No, we haven't been to Galena, IL but will have to add that to our list when we start traveling.
Fireflies.
Random question. Does your dehumidifier work really well?
Yes, it works great. We are on the second one since 2019 but it wasn't that expensive.
I’m from central Florida it’s lightning bugs 😂
In Minnesota they are fire flies>

How do y’all handle rain with your canopy?
