@@MrDanielSoliz i purchased one of the Rimac big blue valve spring testers it’s rated at 350Lb do you know if I can start with it on doing small Block engines? Stock to mild build?
@@MrDanielSoliz quick question I’m New to doing all this machine shop Work trying to learn it but do you have are can you do a video showing how to properly setup and read a dail bore gauge ?
Great video as always. any tips how to measure valve spring height on import heads that have small diameter springs and are deep in hole so there are no room for regular spring height micrometer or snap gauge ? I have made custom tool for that, but its not very accurate.
I rebuilt my Duramax motor and after a few days of driving one of my rocker bridge got dislodge. I reinstalled it and set the valve lash and it again. I suspect that I might have a bad spring. Any thought. Will a floating valve cause this? I didnot check the springs and I reused them. My motor has over 300k miles on it.
My dad would say your cars and motor are just like your women you abuse either one they will leave you on the side of the road . And if your buddy takes either one out and throws a rod in em one you gonna be pissed
Today's youth expect tools to be an "end all" for them. They have completely forgotten that tools are an extension of personal skills. IE: how do you break a socket?
nice demonstration, thank you for sharing. I learned me somtin today.😬
You are an excellent teacher Daniel .
Thank you.

@@cdpperformance2613 will do! ✌️
Perfectly explained, also shown that the spring testers need a calibration spring, that i bet that not everyone has used or have.
Thanks Dan.. I now have the perfect tool to tune my Competition PoGo Stick for peak performance... 👍Have a great weekend
Thanks for the video
Trying to imagine all the engines out there with wonky spring pressure - ready to explode.
Thanks Danny
😎🍺👍🇦🇺

You call Shop Mom and ask how much for the Daniel Soliz custom spring tester.😁

Was anything just done live a valve job or mill?
@@MrDanielSoliz no nothing of that sort. The valves were removed and we're hand lapped with grinding compound. No machinery was used.
