It is awesome to see a model kit that has been detailed and doesn't look like it has been soaked in a oil bath. The detail is fantastic, well done on all your work.
Oh my, this is just wonderful. I love the small details - the seat and headlamp, the windscreen, the broken slats - and your weathering is a master class. Cheers for this!
You all prolly dont give a shit but does someone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Stanley Melvin thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Well done! Most of the W.W. 2 trucks that I have restored started out looking way worse when I got them than this scale model. Tamiya got many of the features correct when they built this kit. Timken Transfer Case and High Speed, "Split" axles. All wood Cargo Bed with period correct Troop Seat Stanchions. Black-Out Drive Light in the correct location for 1943-44 and later C.C.K.W.'s. 12 Louvre Upper Side Covers and even the Tail Light Housings are correct for an all wood bed. Nice Video all the way through!!
Very creative and talented artist . I don't think half the details could be captured by the human eye , they are best seen in the full video . Thanks for sharing , the hours involved must have been substantial .the out doors look is awesome.
I know right! It's been almost 9 months! Not a very productive video year. Had two builds that were not video-worthy in-between this and the last one. Back on track! Next one is a good-ol Sherman!
Exactly! I wish I had a picture of the one I remember as a kid. It was MUCH more abused than my build appears! But man, it was a cool truck! Thanks much!
Wow! Very nice work. Nice attention to detail! The weathering and chipping process really brought it out. Been thinking of getting this kit. Any issues with the build? Well done sir!
Thanks! The kit is beautiful and the fit is perfect! The only issues I had were with the tarps. The kit comes supplied with molded tarps for the front cab and the cargo area but as you'd expect, they aren't very realistic as most aren't. It's just not really possible to make something as thin as a tarp out of plastic, especially when scaled down to 1/35. They did fit just fine!
@@mnscalemodeler3217 I've seen Shep Paine's tarps and various covers using tissue paper and metal foil. They turned out really well. This Tamiya truck turned out superbly. The chipping and weathering bring this kit to life - very well done! 🤙
Another masterpiece! Are the tyres weighted? They look like they are, or is it because the truck looks so real that my brain thinks the tyres are weighted?
Just another 'Picture Snapped Video' styled collection of shots again. All the best. When you make an actual videos I'm sure your subs will explode, as you clearly have a lot of talent with the models. ..just not with the camera and editing. I look forward to when you do get those skills down pat.
Not sure why you needed to repeat the almost exact same comment on three videos, but that's ok. As I said in the others, it's not for everyone and that's fine. I'm not a professional video producer...just want to share what I do with others. Thanks for the compliment and your thoughts. Hope you find what you are looking for.
Definetaly looks like "out of action" vehicle. Super impressive paintjob. Subscribed.

WOW unbelievable
Thanks much!
Great build of an iconic vehicle! Glad to see you back on YT! Can't wait to see the Sherman - hopefully not another 9 months 😉
Thanks Jerry! Definitely hoping this one is a bit faster! LOL!
Very nice. This fits an idea I've had to park one on a base with tires sunk in and tall grass. Like the one at a neighbor's farm when I was a kid. 😎

LOL! Yeah, the bottoms are slightly flattened. Not drastically but a little. Thanks much!
@@mnscalemodeler3217 They look very convincing. So you just sanded flat spots on them or do you use a more technical method?
@@akaus1000 Yep! Just sanded a flat spot. If you want a more flat look, you would have to bulge them out a bit, which becomes a bit more work. :-)
Love it , so realistic .What kind of pigments have you used Thanks
Have you attended a antique military vehicle rally ? Or enjoyed the 1÷1 scale units ?
Believe it or not, I'm more of an airshow/warbird guy. Funny that I usually build armor or vehicles. LOL!
@@mnscalemodeler3217 Would you do a similar aging process on a model vintage aircraft ?
@@heartland96a You can use some of the same techniques, sure.
❤❤❤👍👍
Thanks!
🙌👏
I made 3 of this. Now I want the real thing!. Lol!

Nice model but the music sucked - thought I was at a frinkin funeral.
