Omfg my teacher at my school is one of the teachers who are involved in this case!! He told us that the reason why the school is supposedly haunted is because of how unhygienic the girl's restroom is which is lead directly into a forest. There are "used" period towels which are drenched in either fresh or old blood. The school hired a shaman,an ustaz ( which is a Malay priest) and a priest himself to bless the whole school. My teacher had a nightmare about being in the school yard at night and an old lady jump scared him. Thank you for covering this case Sushi! :D

Hello! A fellow muslim who graduated from a religious school is here. Personally, i do believe in supernaturals because I've witnessed few mass histeria in my school. Based on my own experience, usually our ustaz and ustazah (religious teachers) usually told us to recite ayatul kursi, zikr or any other quranic verses (i dont remember which but mostly we recite ayatul kursi) to kinda chase the thing away (?) or make protection to ourselves so we won't get possesed (kinda) whenever there's a mass hysteria going on. But I've never seen my ustaz or ustazah use any expensive histeria kit so... This is the first time i heard about such kit existed so idk if it's legit or not BUT i do know for the fact that you DON'T NEED the expensive kit to solve the problem of histeria 💀

Unfortunately this is not how it works. My friend once got possessed by an entity at school, she is a pretty tiny petite girl but need 5 guys to hold her down just to stop her from trying to hurt herself. They dont feel pain or fear when they get possessed.

As someone who has been possessed before, to put simply: Your mind & physical body becomes two separate beings. In my case, mentally I was talking to myself & feeling calm, just questioning what was happening & why but physically, I was screaming, crying, violent & had to be held down by three people. You try to stop yourself from the actions being carried out but it’s almost like you can only watch from a distance.

I had a similar experience. But I wouldn't call it 'possession.' Basically, there would occasionally be this religious meeting in halls from time to time and then people will be asked to go to the front so the preachers will pray for you directly. I was a religious kid back then, so I went in front. Now, listen. I don't cry in public, and even if I do, I wouldn't scream. I have no reason to, and I'm too self-conscious to do that. But SOMEHOW, somehow, after being prayed by the preachers and surrounded by people who started crying and screaming and even throwing up, I started to do that too.
I'm telling y'all, collective consciousness and hysteria are REAL, but should be viewed as more of a psychological thing than a 'spiritual' thing.
To this day, many people still do this thing where they cry after the preacher prays for them, because supposedly it can 'heal' their sicknesses. But have y'all heard of the Placebo Effect? To put it in the simplest term ever, basically when your mind is CONVINCED that a treatment is effective, your body can actually heal on its own. I suggest looking into the Placebo Effect, because I heavily theorize that the reason why people claim to have been healed after these meetings, is because of it.

FACTS
This is my own past experience. If you accidently caught ghost image by using phone camera or digital camera somehow the image usually a little bit blurry. Like in the pic , you can see the ghost image but somehow part of the picture look like broken television image. Maybe the ghost intefering with electrical waves resulting such images. I caught twice. One in my student year, accidently, at a bridge in Johore. The ghost look like a blur version of Casper the Ghost friend. Not scary looking at all. Second time while in Indonesia, at an ancient candi, not sure how to describe the ghost, tall, semi transparent, neon green colored, this ghost are not scary looking, do not look like a human, have eye but no nose, Look like a hologram image, mouth rectangle shape.

Since you've asked how does it feels to be possessed, so I want to describe my friend's experience when she got possessed in her workplace here in Malaysia several years ago. I'm also similar to you, very curious so I asked her.
My friend, a female, said it feels like " 2 persons in one body", she could feel another being inside with her, she was aware and could see and hear everything, but she couldn't control her actions and words. she felt very intense goosebumps, and felt like all of her hair on the skin tearing apart. She was very scared when she heard her own voice laughing in a very high pitch, and that "thing" was talking to her colleagues with her voice but hoarse, she couldn't believe the hoarse voice came from her. She was crying, laughing , pushing everyone, but it wasn't her doing it. Long story short, one ustaz came and treated her, and her conscious mind came to take control again of her body when that "thing" started to disappear, all of her goosebumps immediately disappeared too.
The experience lasted for one hour only but she was so exhausted and felt painful all over her body, it's like getting punched by 20 people in that one hour. The ustaz said she's prone to get possessed again as once you get possessed by something, that thing will create a path towards your souls/ruh and this path can be traced by other things and allow them to enter her body. since then, she started to recite quranic verse to gate her souls and protect her. It was a life-changing experience for her.
So, that's the experience of my friend getting possessed. To be honest it's kinda creepy.

I only experienced such things during my army days. Don't care what commando you are, went it comes balls sure drop. Feels like someone breathing very deeply beside my ear, the presence is very real. Another time we were chased around by one of our platoonmates for an hour before he collapsed, then we woke up and didn't remember what had just happened. on the 15th of the 7th month, we reminded each other to sleep early but a Malay store man was joking away saying he don't believe, the next thing he fainted and fell of the chair. When we woke him up, he said he saw the things right in-front of him. That night, the dogs were howling the whole night at the ground floor of our camp. You can don't believe but still have to show respect.

My friends dad and my dads friends when they were In the army were idk where but it started like this. At night they were keeping guard night duty basically, they claim that there were things in the trees whispering and in the forest he could hear twigs snapping he went to wake upthe commander and everyone else which left his friend alone, when they all came back his buddy was gone and came back a few days later acting really strange they had suspicion on him and one night the commander was like shocked when he saw his body convulsing and he was whispering and everything he 'went back to sleep' and was watching as he grabbed a knife and walked towards someone about to stab him I the head commander jumped out and saved him and held the guy down he did that and everyone woke up they tied him down in ropes to a pillar and put water over his head. When they could finally leave the asked for a priest to come and so did a few other soliders and watched as the demon left him. Nowadays no one has heard from him since they left which was in 2012

2016 was also the time my school got a case of mass hysteria, but it is in Selangor. Before the big mass hysteria happened, there was like 3-4 cases happened the days before.
It was before SPM, we were all called to go to the surau to do a "solat sunat" for the seniors that will face the big exam. After that, we the juniors, were gathered at the dataran sekolah in order to return back our textbooks. Suddenly, I heard a scream from the back of the dataran where the girls sit. One of the girls got "possessed", and followed by a few more students getting possessed, probably like 4-5 students. I dont remember it that much.
Later, the teachers call all the students to gather in the school's hall to recite the yassin. My friend and I were in charge of the PA Systems of the hall, so we were on the stage with the seniors that lead the recitation. During the recitation, we heard a scream from the back of the hall where the girls are, but it didnt stop us from continuing the recitation. That scream was like the switch of the mass hysteria event, students one by one started screaming from different parts of the halls, a lot of them said "ARGHH Panas!", "Berhenti membaca!!" and so on.
Then there's this one girl that suddenly come up to the stage, stopping to the side of us and looking at us (the recitation leaders), we all suddenly stop the recitation and look simultaneously at the girl. The girl than said in a man voice "Kau berhenti membaca sekarang!". We didnt listen and continue the recitation, but suddenly she come to us and grab the mic and tried to pull it from us. All of us were trying to pull back the mic from her but she was so strong that it feels like the strength didnt come from her. It was like 7-8 people vs 1 girl. At last we got the mic and split ourselves. some were holding the girl down, and some continue to finish the yassin recitation.
After we finish the recitation, the situation did not calm down but futher more escalate the mass hysteria, a lot more started to screams, and the teachers told us, the one that didnt get possessed, to help hold the possessed students and recite commonly use quran passages into the ears to calm them down, and to get rid of the spirit inside their body. There were not enough space in the hall because of the chaos, so a lot of the possessed student got carried to an open space near the hall, like the canteen and the dataran. I went around and help other students. There was a girl being hold back by 2 teachers, one on each arm, and an ustaz of the school were reciting prayers and quran passages, but the girl just laugh and scream back at the ustaz. The ustaz then slap the girl and she went flying for like 2.5 meters. She was one of the worst victim during the mass possesion.
After the whole situation calm down, we were release early to go back home, Me and friends went to the hall to tidy up the PA Systems, and there like 3 students who are still possessed, 2 girls, one is the girl who got slap, and another is the girl who went to the stage and trying to take the mic, and 1 boy, i dont know what happen to him. They were being locked up inside a room behind the stage by the teachers. Apparently, the teachers were waiting for help from multiple religious figure nearby (from Darul Syifa'). I went home after tidying up. Days later, during the SPM, one paper (an arab paper about the quran i think) got postpone because there's was a hysteria case in the hall during the examination. I knew this because there were news somewhere, i dont remember where i saw it.
All of this happened because we got a new Headmistress, and she is a bit hot headed and firm with her decision. She decide to cut down few trees around the school for a project that she want to do but didnt consult with the Darul Syifa' nearby. What I heard was the trees surrounding the school are gating the school from outside forces and it was the spirits homes. When a few trees got cut down, the gate are open to attack of spirits because they are not locked up in their home anymore. These are what I heard from an Ustaz from the Darul Syifa'.

I only seen possesion once, my sewing class classmate basically at first she was in heavy pain like something is gripping her tightly at the back, the more scared she feels the easier the thing takes over her soul and eventually said she's no longer in control, it's like she was asleep for a long time during the possesion, she doesn't remember anything during that but she did feel a lot of pain afterwards (after the spirit was released from her) due to the healers gripping some parts of her body to keep the thing contained, it happened twice to her but again, her mind just went to sleep during the possesion, its interesting tho watching it irl, her voice doesn't change one bit but you know its not her due to the scream and her resisting towards Quran verses
The school did say that the area is generally haunted due to it being close to an old forest area, I remember the teachers refuses to talk about one incident where they stayed late for work, my other classmates also said they did saw a dark figure moving there, or something that looks like someone they recognised move around after they just went home (my class lasted til 5 pm too), all these incidents and sights are usually seen at 6 pm til early morning, I never did see anything tho, maybe cause I'm too demonic? 😂
Also, lots of folks does these possession remedies in Malaysia, so you don't need to pay a high amount of money like the kit, I'm not sure how effective it is technically
I've heard a girl got possesed once. She was staying a few blocks away from my dorm. Her wailing was like 10/15 minutes long, idk how to describe the sound but its like terrifying and like she was like in pain/suffering at the same time.
The story was, prior to returning to her dorm, she mentioned smelling a nasty smell while walking with a group of friends after late dinner. She said it out loud like "What is this big stinky smell?". Her friends were shocked and scolded her but she just ignored them. The place they passed through happened to have really big old trees at the side of the road.
But that aside, you dont hear Chinese and Indian girls getting possesed and whatnot. I was always thinking like my Chinese/Indian friends also are scared of ghosts and stuffs but you just dont see them getting this extreme like getting possesed/hysterical.

I’m Muslim but Malay culturally. My sister’s school cut down a tree without reciting at least a prayer and whatever was living in it was so pissed, it started possessing the students? I still remember this vividly, when I was still studying in college few years ago. It was in the middle of night me and my mates were doing assignment at the hallway. Suddenly we heard someone scream one floor below and saw some senior running/chasing someone and we followed them. Apparently they say a guy was being possessed and it took 7 of them to subdue that one small dude. He was screaming and convulsing so we are waiting for Ustaz to come help. The next day the faculty decided to send him home and called his parents to pick him up. Poor dude, it was his first few days in college.
Fast forward to a month or so, he came back. Exactly that same day in the middle of night it happens again. We heard glass shattered and heard people screaming. Apparently the guy punched the window which has a direct view of the thick forest and jump out running. It was chaos, everyone was out looking for him and they found him in one of the shack bleeding profusely from stepping on the glass and again subdue the guy. The next day the faculty decided that our college is not suitable for him.
One of the Ustaz suspected that there had been some evidence of an hereditary element involved. Supposedly the guy grandma is a shaman or some sort who "bela jinn" so the grandma planted a Jinn to protect the guy and the moment he enter our college ground, he probably reacted to the "bad surrounding".

i was possessed 3 TIMES throughout my highschool years (to make it worse, its a boarding school) my school is located in kuala lumpur, right in the heart of the city. and all of them happened to be during mass possessions. the 1st time was when i was still 13 (form 1), it all started because one of my seniors were screaming and tossing around in her dormroom in the middle of the night, and so others began to do the same thing, some claimed that some of the possessed student's voices sounded extremely different. we were forced to evacuate to our school hall and read surah al-yaassiin (a chapter in the al-quran). and as more and more people began to scream, i closed my eyes and screamed so loud. the form 5 seniors kat to drag me out to our prayer hall, i was half aware, so that time i felt a sharp, burning pain in my heart. i was kicking and punching at the seniors who carried me, and they told me that even though my body was small and skinny that time, it felt really heavy and hard to carry. during the exorcism process, my friend (who helped me through the entire process) claimed that i sounded like a much more mature, old woman, instead of my usual voice,. and while the exorcist was questioning the spirit, the spirit told the exorcist that its a male that wants to be female, so it took form of a female child.
Storytime:
Before covid, in our school there was a very deep well infront of the girls toilet building.
If you looked inside the well, you would always see a fresh red rose in the very low water of the well. There wasn't a day where the rose wasn't inside the well. The rose looked fresh at all times, the morning or the evening.
The well was covered by a steel net with around 2cm gaps and its lid was locked at all times. So there was no way to drop a rose into the well.
When covid hit, our school used the time to clean and renovate our school.
But when we came back to school after covid, the well was covered with a green tarp which was stapled to the net. so you couldn't see into the well anymore. There was no explaination for why they covered it. When we asked the teachers and workers, they replied with 'I don't know'.
Our school was one with multiple ghost rumors asssociated with it, within our school.
Some say the school was build on a former graveyard, but there's no real evidence to prove that.

Kejadian kerasukan itu bukan hanya berlaku pada hari itu, tetapi berlaku hampir sebulan juga. Ada yang kerasukan masa keluar dari tandas. Ada yang kerasukan masa perhimpunan dan ada juga kerasukan masa kelas berlansung.Tak tahu apa punca kerasukan, tapi teori saya ialah acara unggun api sewaktu perkhemahan.
Kejadian kerasukan yang pertama kali itu, berlaku dua hari selepas aktiviti camping unit beruniform di sekolah. Aktiviti unggun api dibuat pada malam terakhir perkhemahan. Malam tu api unggun memang besar. Tinggi api cecah hampir 3 meter lebih dan malam tu kami semua ramai² keliling api dan nyanyi mcm² lagu menggunakan gitar sehingga hampir lewat malam. Aktiviti unggun api itu dibuat di sebuah gelanggang (lupa gelanggang untuk sukan apa) yang sebelahan dengan padang besar. Selama 4 tahun saya sekolah di sana, aktiviti macam ni belum pernah dibuat. So mungkin aktiviti unggun api kami tu ganggu 'sesuatu' di kawasan tersebut.
Ada dua kawasan 'hotspot' yang berdekatan dengan gelanggang itu iaitu sebuah pokok (macam pokok ara) di antara gelanggang dan padang rumput dan juga sebuah bangunan sekolah tiga tingkat. Namun tempat yang keras di bangunan itu adalah di tingkat tiga iaitu dulunya sebuah bilik muzik namun pada masa itu, bilik itu baru dijadikan bilik Bahasa Melayu. Bilik itu memang seram dan saya ada kisah lain pasal bilik itu. Jendela bilik itu memang berhadapan dengan gelanggang. So mungkin 'benda' itu terganggu. Yang pokok itu pula memang pokok yang paling besar di tengah² kawasan luas dekat padang dan gelanggang.
Lepas sebulan, kalau tak silap ada cuti seminggu (lupa cuti apa) and then bila sekolah bermula semula, kami perasan dekat bilik seni yang berada di tingkat paling bawah (satu bangunan dengan bilik keras itu) ada banyak ketulan garam kasar bertaburan di jendela kelas. Cikgu respon, garam tu adalah daripada ustaz yang dijemput pihak sekolah untuk 'bersihkan' dan 'pagarkan' kawasan itu. Selepas hari itu, kejadian kerasukan memang dah takda berlaku.TAPI, tahun depannya berlaku semula 😌 faktor? Spirit of the coin 🤦🏻♂️.

I've only ever experienced "possessions" atleast twice but it was diff kids and diff schools (I moved alot but never out of state). This one wasnt exactly possessed but she sure did act like she was, during one of my religious classes, we were just learning like normal. Were in a closed dim space which is the surau of the school where we also pray in, door closed but windows are curtainless. Suddenly, we could all hear sum kid run across the corridor outside (and their shadow basically wizzed fast af thru our windows) at such a fast speed and with such loud footsteps that we all stopped to look outside. Although my class didnt get to see the girl, we did hear from another class that did catch up to her to know what happened. She stated that she saw a ghost and was so terrified, she ran as fast as she could, somehow even faster and louder than any naughty kids chasing each other in corridors everyday, just on her own. That fear couldve made her won the sports day race
The second one I actually got to see the kid but I dont remember when this was so I was prob much younger. She was running like a mad man and screaming to the point teachers AND prefects had to catch her and pin her down. She was spazzing like crazy, like someone who has a seizure but legs very much kicking towards ppl nearby. An ustaz (muslim priest) even came with a prayer book to exorcise her or sumth while the rest of us kids watched like 10 feet away. Her shrieking voice got pretty scary as she didnt sound at all like a kid most of the time but after watching for a while, some teachers forced us to go back to our classes and pack up so I unfortunately dont know how it ended.
Now this is a bonus from a teacher's story time of my highschool before I graduated. (From the way she told me,) the kids at the school was basically in a huge mass hysteria. Every kid in every class at sum point ran and screamed all over the corridors while she (the teacher telling this story) was busy pinning down a boy with another teacher on the courtyard, reciting prayers for him while he spazzed and screamed the same way as the girl in my story before this one but this time, the teacher remarked that despite having his legs and arms pinned down, one of her arms is mysteriously gripped by sumth thruout the hysteria (theres nothing visible there gripping her arm). It was so bad it actually left a red hand print mark on her arm when it all finally ended (and she had a photo proof on her phone to show us which made it crazier to us 17 yos at the time)

Malaysian Muslim here, my father have experience with spiritual stuff and spiritual healing. My mother's little brother wife had been possessed twice during family member wedding day, I was also there witness the possession happened in front of my eyes and I help my father deal with this evil entity. Ohh yeah an online friend of mine that lives in kuala lumpur told me that this situation has also happened in his school, apparently after form 2 students decided to summon a spirit or smth. After that many junior form female students have apparently seen a black figure. It has happened more than once already. Once my online friend’s friend had also seen it happen in front of him. His friend was having lunch when 2 girls that were sitting at a table suddenly screamed while one froze with a terrified expression. My online friend if form 5 so I’m hoping that he’ll be save 😬

this also kinda happen in PTSS perlis. its right after an indian woman unalive herself in her dorm room. the roommate found her body hanged 2/3 days after (the roommate went back home for the weekends). so basically the whole building got possessed to the point where male students need to stay around the building to prevent the victim from jumping off the building (some did tried). the room is still not use till this day. its left empty with no doors. i promise its real. i've seen her hanged picture from a senior once in 2012 (1st sem). also i've asked a lot of my seniors at that time (mostly facilitator) about this and a majority of them said it did happen while some dont really want to talk about it bcuz they know the indian woman. not to mention at one point i swear i heard the pontianak laugh late at night. my room was a 2 person room on the third floor and i dont really talk with my roommate and often time he stay with his friend. so i was alone most of the time. after this incident i decide not to stay in my dorm room anymore. PTSS is haunted. 😂

Tips to avoid getting possessed/hysteric according to my experience 😂;
1. whatever you saw, DO NOT. EVER. CRY. Don't scream, don't show that you are afraid of them. Once you gave them a reaction, they will be more happy to possess you.
2. Literally recite ayatul qursi, loudly and repeatedly. I was almost possessed 2 times, and alhamdulillah with the help of God I repelled it.
RULE ONE IS VERY IMPORTANT. DO NOT EVER SHOW YOU ARE SCARED OF THEM. BE BRAVE. IGNORE THEM. Do not acknowledge them, point at them or etc.
Unless that spray was blessed by certain quran verses then yeah it will work if God wills.

My school also have few hysteria.. One case really stuck to my memory. The possessed girl yeeted a female teacher across the hall.. The chilling part is that we see the angry spirit on top of the surau. I don't know if there's an photographic evidence seeing that this happened in 2008 and in a boarding school. The story goes the girl was playing tennis at our tennis court. The tennis court was situated on top of a small hill near a forest. The girl took a stone from the forest back to her room. Probably stumbled across the stone when looking for out of bound ball. When she was possessed she screamed something about her child. The teachers returned the stone and the possession kinda just stop. The girl got a broken arm and a fractured femur from struggling. I only saw the angry spirit, the howling and the commotion. The story came from the yeeted teacher and from some of her friends.

When you mention about cutting the trees, I just remembered some cases in one of the schools in Kuala Terengganu. There were always possession happen at one particular classroom near this one big tree. And bcs it happened too often, the school decided to cut the tree and yeah no more possession after that.

Mass hysteria is a common among school students here in Malaysia, especially among teenagers. I have never personally seen toddlers and pre-teens get mass hysteria before, only teens between 16 to 20 years old.
Also one fact that this person forget to mention is that majority of mass hysteria victims happened to be Malays (Muslims). It is very very rare (or even exists) any incident of mass hysteria involving Indian and Chinese students despite of Malaysia having Tamil and Chinese schools respectively.

They actually sell these product so you can blessed your house or yourself from any negative energy or spirits. i always bring a ruqyah spray even to hotels or resorts. Ruqyah water are widely used by Muslim exorcist (peruqyah). So that Histeria kit is def a scam. That ammonia inhalant might be good tho. just to wake someone the F up in case they wanna skip class hahah.

another reason for mass hysteria is that the girls are playing with ouija board out of boredom. believing that they summon a demon or a ghost, they scream with their friend which cause a chain reaction with other female students and finally to the whole dormitory. kinda happen in my institude(ILP Selandar) in melacca after the ishyak prayer in the mosque. i think there were a announcement to turn on the light in our room cuz one of the female student are having hysteria at the mosque. then many more female student scream which cause us to stay in our room and turn on the light and read yaseen. 1 of the boys is either "possess" or just went wild because there is a mass hysteria going on and having fun being wild(possess). we have to sleep all night with the light on until morning which i barely can sleep until 4am in the morning.
fast forward 2 days later(or maybe month? i forgot the date), another hysteria happening during the afternoon. the students are force to return home in order to avoid a mass hysteria until the next week. we got like 5 day break because of that. i think this happen on 2017 or 2018. yeah we had stress but the girls are more stress that they would try summoning demon just to have fun.
Back when i was in high school, one of my cousins who was the same age as myself got possessed together with her friends. It started when one Sunday they decided to have a Youth meeting in one of the very very old churches in one of the towns near their town. While they were supposed to have a meeting , the friends instead played with the religious statues inside the church. When the group of friends went home at about 6pm, while everyone had already gone home to their families, the friends started to feel pain starting at their finger tips and slowly reaching their arms till it was their whole body . My cousin who was female started to speak in different voices. One of the voices was that of a guy who claimed to be a boxer in that area way before my cousin was born... And the very scary thing about the whole thing was that my cousin knew who was coming to see her even before the person came through the door...like she had an eye behind her back...All those who got possessed experienced the same thing.... it started with the pain in their fingers like, the spirits entered their body through there...And they did'nt act strange all the time, there were times when they acted normal...and if i remember right, one of her sister's told me that when she had different voices, they smell something burning...They called on an exorcist to help them... and they prayed over my cousin and her friends... and they had to confess their sins everyday... not only them but also all the family members... the priest also told them to bring our family's oldest relatives and have them confess...from that confession, we learned that my great grandmother from our mother's side killed herself by dousing herself with gasoline and setting herself on fire because my great grandfather couldn't stay faithful... he apparently had about 8 wives. On my grandpa's side, their father, my great grandpa was an ordained catholic priest who got a church lecter pregnant and housed her and their 3 children in the convent..these children, my grandpa, though married also had mistresses, his brother also did the same... and their sister was a mistress until she died...The priest said all these sins that our forefathers did contributed to our weak spiritual state thus my cousin was easy for the spirits to possess... they were just told to confess everyday and hear mass and take the communion for a number of days as reparation...
