It's too bad 'Home' isn't included. But the rest of it is wonderful! I love how this musical includes the music lessons, and I love the Phantom's voice. "You Are Music" is my favorite song of the entire musical; the harmonies are beautiful and the orchestra behind them is gorgeous. I prefer Glory Crampton's Christine to this one, but she still has a good voice. Philippe has a fine voice, but his character irritates me. Why is he always leaning on someon'e shoulder?
This is kind of a random comment, but the Phantom really seems to like his cape in this production. Swish that cloak, Erik! lol It does look really cool, though.
Phantom and Christine are sooo incredible cute together, so I really like when they sing "You are my music". It's a beautiful stage production from the film, of the Phantom of the opera, where the actors were Teri Polo and Charles Dance. But it's was always strange here, that we doesn't have a Raoul, but also a Philippe. I thinkig the same, he doesn't love Christine from his heart as Erik.
Oh my gosh Thank you for such an awesome version! regardless of the buzzling and recording I found it most interesting :) I really love Erik in Kopit version Richard pulled off the performance so well that I got swayed by liking this version in instant! [I first saw ALW i like Ramin very much but in ALW play I dont think the phantom can display much about himself] And Charles Dance as well :) the most [how to put it] adorable Erik out there. Thank you again for uploading this :D
@tara The Charles Dance version was based off this version. The producers didn't release the musical in time before ALW released his and, thinking that they wouldn't be able to compete, they turned it into a TV mini series.
@PhantomoftheOperaOG After Christine's triump at the bistro, Carlotta humbles herself to say "A Talent like yours, my dear, it comes once in a lifetime. it's the Least I can do..." and then she bows. 25:28 I should have known she had some trick up her sleeve at being so nice to christine.
I actually like Phillipe in this, as blasphemous as that may sound. "Who Could Ever Have Dreamed Up You" is actually a pretty charming song, and I've successfully wooed my girlfriend with bits of it. A nice baritone voice goes a long way, I suppose.
@LaMagster i am doing at CM performing arts center on long island =] we are having wonderful run so far. i am having a blast. Where are you performing phantom ?
You must know that the Charles Dance mini-series was created from this very musical. I couldn't tell if you were joking, or being serious with that comment, so I had to provide the information.

Richard White just breaks my heart in this musical.
Richard White has such a rich voice.
This Christine’s wide twangy singing (and speaking) drives me nuts, but Richard White makes up for her. Again, thanks for posting this. On to part 3.

"The Opera's Been Invaded by a Phantom" Scene was really clever and funny. very complex and well done.
Oh my gosh Thank you for such an awesome version!

I really love Erik in Kopit version

I love how in “Phantom Fugue” Erik is just running around

You are music and My true love are my two fav song ^^!
Philippe doesn't love Christine he just wants her for sex, its Erik who truly loves Christine!
@PhantomoftheOperaOG After Christine's triump at the bistro, Carlotta humbles herself to say "A Talent like yours, my dear, it comes once in a lifetime. it's the Least I can do..." and then she bows. 25:28

@IsabelleNilsson You're very welcome! I uploaded it because I feel this version isn't getting enough attention
@VassagoX66 You're very welcome, it's why I uploaded it in the first place, this version needs more attention!
THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUI'VEBEENLOOKINGFORTHISFORYEARSTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!!!!!
What the heck? The last part I saw was when she said "all my life I've been waiting..." when did he enter?!?!
@PhantomoftheOperaOG May I ask what happened to the rest of the song from the end of part 1?
wait, what happened to "Home"?
I dont know if its her voice or her accent or what but I'm not blown away. Maybe the static is throwing me off.
@Rurushufan2010 Sadly "Home" isn't included in this bootleg sadly :(
It's one of mine to, cos that's how I feel about theater to, I really wish it had bin kept in this. :*(

Why doesn't find it weird when Erik leaves through the mirror?
@LaMagster i am doing at CM performing arts center on long island =] we are having wonderful run so far. i am having a blast. Where are you performing phantom ?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICHARD :)
@MrShaun42088 Wen did she bow to Christine?
and WOW...did Carlotta actually Bow to Christine? and such compliments! very out of character. but i liked. :)
@phantomlover1000 Where??? I'm doing it, too!
@singractr I have to admitt I didn't like it at first either, but it grew on me
@lbjb247 Good to hear!
From what year is this version?
1991 or 2, I believe!
@lauramatthews89 You're very welcome! :)
@musicalchix Thank you, no problem!
I don't really like the girl who plays Christine's voice when she just singing 'normally' but when she hits those really high notes, dang
this version would be so much better without this ridiculous cape!
Is Richard actually playing the piano? - Mr. E
@phangirl1986 I agree with all of this :)
What happened to the rest of the song???
Was like that when I got it
@PhantomoftheOperaOG Yes!It really isn't!And it's a good version
@MrShaun42088 Oh, okay! Yeah, she's just evil!
@cossetandmarius Same, and yw!
oh ok i am sorry
@IsabelleNilsson XD
@phangirl1986 Batman cloak lol
The Count is cringe but then again I’m a Raoul/Phillipe hater 😂
they are ripping off the Charles Dance Phantom Of the Opare
Lmaoo
it was written by the same person..
I have to say I just don't like the woman's voice who plays Christine...it just doesn't 'fit' to me.

Oh, it's fine, you didn't know. :)
