Thanks for having the best guest in the game back on your show
Yes!! Now I get to catch Sickler on Harland Highway.
@@MrBuketman Sicklers episode on HH is so damn good. I've watched/listened to it multiple times. That "bull lips" part kills me every time 😂
@@MikeHunt-md4bq fantastic dudes
@@MikeHunt-md4bq priest grease
@@kentrey Ha! So many one liners.
Best podcast in a min. Loved the cop rant! Much needed and well said.
Wow! That was a haunting & amazing journey. I first saw Harland as the cop in Dumb & Dumber in ‘94. Thanks for the years of joy. Harland is a treat!
These are amazing, thank you!
I like how Ryan says to Harland ok man, tell me a story. And that’s his way to say like ok man be funny. I bet I’m Harland’s head he’s like wtf man I just wanted to have a conversation and it will come out organically lol
Love Harland Williams!! Another great episode with you two together 😁
One of Canada's best comedic treasures.loved him in half baked, him as kenny fucking killled me laughing 😎🤣😂☠💀🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Absolute goosebumps! I was listening to this ep while walking my dog at midnight down around Ontario Place. I don’t even believe in ghosts but the delivery. Holy shit! Amazing ep!
Holee sh*t Mr Sickler Harland Williams is a legend 👏🏼 thk u
I'm sorry but what a good man what a good human being to see and treat this awfulness in the way he does. He's A better man than I am. Best of luck or God bless I don't know what ever you need brother. Yr the shit.
Two of the best
This is so damn good. I love you two so much!
"Like the lady outside today!" @18:13 🧐🕵
Love you both, great cast!
"That horse is diabetic!!!"
great one
Love that guy. Awesome...👍👍👍
Harland is the man!
Ryan’s delivery on that “How was the burger” line was perfect lolll
Love him for asking all the normal follow up questions others don’t: so did you break up with her that day? How was the burger? What were her facial expressions
Best line in podcast history..
That was great. These two together are magical magnets. Great funny dudes/story tellers.
"other than that Mrs Lincoln how was the play?" LOL
Sickler for the win with that line.
I can't believe Harland is 60. He looks great and always hilarious. Happy Toosdee y'all 😊.
I hope he talks about the owl murder again lmao RIP Fisherman Bob 😂
I’ve watched Harland’s first interview more times than I can remember. One of the greatest guests on any podcast ever. Love this dude
His postcast Harland Highway is so gold
Harland is the only comedian in the world that I never see a negative comment about. Not in the Highway Comments or any pod he's a guest on, nothing but good things. Says alot about the guy, GUY! That's riaaght
My dad worked in child protective services. He has passed away but the few stories I heard still stick with me. Highlight people that do unbelievable things for society that never get the recognition they deserve.
He made up all those stories lmao
Yep, lots of unsung heros
These two together is gold
So awesome
20 minutes in and I’m still not sure if this story is a bit or not. Harland is a master!
He clearly just ate a burger with a heroin addict 😂
lol😂😂
It’s always a bit. Cinnamon swollen ankles. Fly, fly away. ..but everything comes from a truth., even if it isn’t.
I’ve got a few like that first story. When I was 22 I was sitting in my car around 1 am staring at my empty house that I just moved into that was at the end of a dead end street. I was drinking a beer, and I had decided after I finished my beer I was going to going inside and kill myself. As soon as I finished my drink I got out of the car and this car came charging down the street and parked and it was this lady who went to my church when I was a kid and I hadn’t seen her in over a decade. She said she didn’t know why she was here or how she found where I lived but she felt God told her to find me and take me to my parents house for the night. It’s was bizarre and I broke down. These are the days before people had cellphones and were connected like they are now. That night wasn’t the end of my troubles but for sure I felt looked after by something outside of myself when I really needed to.
awesome, glad youre still here to tell it!
Wow
If Josh Potter walked in and stood next to Harland after his Dead Woman Story, that'd have been hilarious.
Underrated comment
ahaha
he's only got the one though, but I appreciate the hustle on a Toos-dee
After the last few years I have decided that Harland Williams is not allowed to die.
He’s been a cult figure in our house since “pumpkin pied hair cutted freak”
What's up night pants family! I love you all and hope you have a Mary Christmas happy holiday happy Hanukkah or what ever you celebrate observe or not. Just know your loved and never need to suffer alone especially this time of year. Even if your not working the 12 steps a lot of groups run 24 hour meetings. They have food and snacks coffee of course. Reach out to someone. Remember to tell someone you live them today.
next time you're doing a podcast with Bobby Lee, you should mention the 'belzeburger' story Harland - he loves that stuff
i listened to this last night at work by myself, outside in the dark and harlands story actually gave me the biggest jeepy creepys ive ever had, i was constantly looking around.
So the Loch Ness “Monster” is a scaredy cat?
Maybe that's a sign you should be looking around more.
@@kathleenchapman3890 Situational awareness isn’t a bad thing.
“Am I the only guy that doesn’t give a f* where Waldo is?!” LOLOLOL 9 minutes in and I already know this is going to be a goooood ep.!! Ryan, you rock for always having the best guests and Harland is always sooo GD funny!!😂😂❤️🔥👏🏼
Love Harland .. if you haven't seen Harland's podcast episode with Ryan on it a couple months ago, Ya gotta.
And the Harlands Highway with Nick Swardson, funniest pod I've ever seen
That lady in the burger joint story gave me chills!
Harland is one of the best improv story tellers EVER… even when Theo does it he is more obviously joking but it’s similar to Will Sasso. Sometimes he will reuse stuff but really it’s all made up and he doesn’t break character at all. No laughing or anything lol
This is awesome! I have been hoping for a new Harland Williams episode but figured we would be in for a longer wait. Christmas came early!
You can tell Harland respects Ryan bec I've never saw him give such straightforward answers / the most serious I've ever saw him.
I had a similar story to harlens. I just got sober and started reading the bible. I had a necklace with isaiah 40:31 on it tucked under my shirt. I picked up a lady crossing the highway with a limp. I asked if she needed a ride and she said she was heading south so i took her as far south as I could until I had to head home and dropped her off. She kept rubbing my bible and said how she loved reading it when she was younger. When she was getting out of the car she thanked me for the ride and told me, those who hope in the lord will soar on wings like eagles. The same verse that was on my neck that she didn't even see. Wild.
Gotta love Tuesdays, you da man Sickler!!
Never forget fisherman bob! I’ve been killing owls ever since that last episode.
I love Harland. He’s such a good dude.
Ohhhhhh shit. This is what I’ve been waiting for 😎😎😎
Rocket Man is STILL one of my favorite movies from childhood. Harland is a gem.
The scene where he is farting in their connected it supply 😂
Yes. Rocket Man and Half Baked. Top shelf comedies.
@@rustincole_w1339 I haven't thought about that since I was a child. Lol!
Same! "Astronaut Fred Randall" "AHHHHHH!!!!!" Lol
Harland is a legend!! A damn legend!!! Love everything he does.
2 hours after my grandma died my family saw an adult Cardinal with 4 babies sitting on my grandma's favorite tree (Grandma had 3 miscarriages and 1 stillborn) every time I think about it I still get chills down my spine.
I saw a Grey person just like Harland described. Public place middle of a nearly empty department store.. They didn't talk to me but made eye contact while he walked away. Same cold terrifying vibe. Now I wish I did talk to him!
I met an angel once. I broke my leg in a car accident and was trapped for a few hours against the tree(had to be cut out with the jaws of life). This man in a white, work vehicle showed up after I sent my brother down the road from to call for help (no cell phone) and somehow he got into the back seat and held c-spine while talking to me and keeping me calm. Anyway, I get better and ask my brother who the guy was so I could thank him or send him a card or something and nobody else has seen him. Nobody knew what I was talking about. I believe that man was my guardian angel 😇
Harland got those 1998 The Rock sideburns
I had a strong feeling my bf was cheating and I would ask the universe , “if he’s cheating just please let me know”
I woke up one morning , and I just knew all this info suddenly. I knew passwords I didn’t know , I found emails and facebooks I didn’t know about . There was some voice in my head that just kept having me unravel his secrets for the next couple days . So bizarre and amazing .
I will say i am not Christian or follow any religion . If I “pray” it’s to everything . I say “universe , gaia, atoms, particles, aliens, God, whoever is running this show, please….”
This guy singlehandedly cured my cynicism
Harland’s dope and I loved this episode but I feel like in regards to the cops going through rough things.. It must be difficult and traumatizing for sure. BUT that doesn’t make any sort of brutality or abuse of power any less of an issue. I feel like they need to keep their composure at all times and if they cannot, maybe a different job for them.
Harland Williams, ladies and gents. Wow.
I understand cops deal with rough things but no one is forcing them to work there. They choose to do that job. And defund the police was literally just trying to help cops by taking the pressure off them in certain scenarios and try to use different de-escalation tactics rather than the shoot first ask questions later approach. Also, none of those things are excuses for bad behavior nor do they mean that they are immune from scrutiny. No other career suggests you hate all of them when you call out someone doing their job poorly except cops. Weird how that works
Good podcast. My dad was 1st officer On the scene. Haunted him forever seeing them . The accident occured the night of the Oak Hills High School homecoming dance, October 21, 1972. The location of the accident was the intersection of Taylor and Rybolt roads in Green Township, Cincinnati, OH. A car carrying six Oak Hills students was westbound on Taylor Rd. when a vehicle heading southbound on Rybolt Rd. at a high rate of speed became airborne cresting a hill on Rybolt and landed virtually on top of the student's car. Five of the six occupants were killed. Their names: Deborah Lyn Eckert, Cindy Jane Kreuzman, Kim Marie Wullenweber, Alan Surnbrock and Linda Diane May. It should be noted that the driver and passenger of the "airborne" vehicle both survived the accident. Both were determined to be legally intoxicated, having purchased Alcoholic Beverages using illicit identification. The outcome of this incident led indirectly to the initiation of the use of Photo Identification on all Ohio driver's licenses. A memorial fountain was erected the following year in a courtyard at Oak Hills High School dedicated to the memory of the five accident victims.
I'm youth corrections in Canada. The shit I know is fucking disgusting. Vicarious trauma, people.
That was so fun. I love hearing the real side of Harland.
Harland Williams is so goddamn funny, used to watch him on Just for Laughs as a kid, he was hilarious on Whiskey Ginger and did not disappoint here!!
Harland has angel energy
Thank goodness Harland Williams decided to pursue comedy instead of the mail room!
Ok so Harland said that he didn’t tell the dead lady story to his cheating girlfriend at the time but… he also says that they’re still friends to this day. So, did he ever tell her? I must know !
"Do you still like horror movies after all this shit?" Had me cracking up.
Happy Tooesdee y'all! I hope everyone is well. Shout-out to Ryan Sickler for saving my life this morning with your "Never trust a Blinker" advice your dad gave you as a kid. You've drilled it into all our heads over the years and this morning it paid off. THANK YOU! Honeydew be saving lives y'all! 💚
Glad your ok and made it to another tooesday! Marry Christmas 🎄
Harland back on the Dew is the best Christmas gift you can ask for! Been watching his podcast since he was on here last!
its not about cops are bad, its that the bad ones never get punished...
yup and when they do, the punishment is light..
What an amazing story from Harland about the lady at the burger place. Wild.
Harland is so great. Everything he says is gold.
a different side of Harland, as opposed to him making bird sounds on carolla-great episode!
Harland fucking rules
Harlands last episode on here is my all time favorite episode of Honeydew. So excited to see him back so soon!
Brought the original Scapula Guy shirt. Don't know if I need to wear it or frame it. I live 2 blocks from the Nightpants studio so maybe I need to wear it everyday incase I run into Ryan again. Ran into him while coaching my girls soccer team and he could not have been more gracious and nice. Keep up the great work Ryan. -Ryan
"We get in them lasagna layers bro!" ❤️❤️❤️❤️This podcast is amazing. thank you for shining a light in the dark during a time where everyone is a victim and duality rules most people's thoughts.
Great episode, haven't seen Harland this serious on any podcast or show
If John Cusack and Rob Schneider made a human....
LOL LOL could you imagine being Harland Williams and thinking the ghost/angel lady wasn't the paranoid schizophrenic in that situation?! He's made a great career but he talked to a woman fresh out of the looney bin. Maybe they just connected on a good day and both their brains were broken.
Nonsense. You can find "signs" in anything when you're desperate. There's a reason my dog died after my ex wife cheated on me. There's a reason why my student loan debt disappeared.
fuck yea
Fuck yeah I'm so excited for this!!!
I swear Harland started doing a bit 20 years ago and never stopped
I’ve seen a horned owl slit the throat of a Rottweiler
So happy! Love you two together. And I use to get slightly annoyed with Ryan's laugh and now I crave it. Fucking Honeydew yall!!!
“I thought she was dead the first time I looked at her” lmao
Harland 19:30
Could listen to these two shoot the shit all day.
RIP Fisherman Bob #neverforget
The recent episode of "way back" had me in tears laughing
Cousin Johanna
"Find the right girl" phhhhhhhuuuuuuggggggggggg, Harland! Great story... wtf
I will say I've had this experience before. I'm not religious, but my parents raised me in religions: southern baptist, catholic, episcopal. I've been stuck and lost and followed his exact formula before. I mean I was just as desperate as he was for an answer to the point where I'd ask for help from something I didn't even really believe in. Ask for the help, let that question/request go then wait and listen. It's more of a gut thing the listening but you'll end up with an answer. I don't know that any of my answers came in the form of a dead woman/demon lol, but I got my answers and got unstuck in short order. I hesitated sharing this. I really don't like talking about it or sharing that kind of advice. Do your thing.
You are a big beautiful pine tree, Harland. Highway is the best new podcast out there
But did the dead woman have a burger?
Nice, I love Puppy Dog Pals
4:20 when the show actually starts
Yeah, hard to believe that was an angel. Easy to believe it was a demon.
Love Harley
😂😂 dude… how was the burger.. had me doubled over
I got a dead woodpecker hanging in my backyard right now
Was it suicide?
Harland, this is coming from an ex-atheist: You should totally read the NKJV Bible from cover to cover.
Every time a human had an encounter with an angel, they were greeted with ''Do not be afraid!''
Harland is so funny!
Love when Sicklers laugh sounds like an R2D2 scream
Harland highway podcast is good!!! Funny 😁 😂 great job Harland
Im here for this!!
