that’s why for 500m earning a great starting position by being quick in the semi is extremely important
It’s because the first position in the final got the fastest record in the semi-finals. And it’s not always true that the first position won. In Turin, in the quarter-final, Wang Meng was in the 3rd position and Radanova was in the first position, but Wang Meng won in this quarter-final. And for Arianna Fontana, even though she got the first position in the final, but it’s Susanna Shulting ran into the first position when the game starts, and at the final 2 laps, Fontana passes Shulting from the inside and won the game
