I was so happy to see this new video! I watched some of your old videos just last night. I sure have missed them. Your videos are truly my favorite. Best wishes for your new home in Michigan! I look forward to more new videos from you. Until then I'll watch your old ones. They're always enjoyable.
Thank you Randy, your videos are always absolutely excellent. I love it when you have your family is in your videos. Kaylee really is the "icing on the cake" or should I say, the "Icing on the video". She is such a lovely young lady! God Bless You, Your Family and America's Parks! ... Robin 💗
Hi Randy!! I was so excited to see your video pop up! You were missed!. It looks like you have moved to a beautiful area with lots of wonderful history. Please keep up with America Parks! Wonderful video. It's good to see you back out here.
Tahquamenon Falls is so beautiful, it's one of my bucket list falls to visit! I never knew about the fort, have to add that to the list 😁Great video Randy, God Bless!
Loved the video! Such a beautiful area and lighthouses are always so captivating. I’m hoping you share some video of the beautiful fall foliage in that region:)
One more thing! I watched your farewell service. If we ever got out east, I said we need to visit his church. Well done message!! I don’t know your congregation, but I was tearing up listening to those giving their “speeches”. Wow!! You are SO loved!! Thank you for your ministry!! ❤️
I have been here a few years ago… it’s a fun day. One of my good memories with my son, and my Dog who passed of cancer a year or so later. Been going to Michigan all my life… but hey I’m from Indiana. 😂 Michigan does great with their state parks. EDIT : Okay got to end of the video... you said you don't know what the future is for America's Parks... well don't stop this is my FIRST STOP anytime I want to look at anything for national parks. I remember watching your Wyoming videos with my father when he was in hospice and reminiscing of his favorite trips before passing. I listened to one of your sermons in which you said what you wanted your kids to say about you, when it was your time. As such, I spoke of my father, as you requested for you, because I knew that was what my father wanted. No one else mentioned my fathers faith when they spoke(I do think it was assumed). My father was in the choir at church, and before becoming a Dentist considered becoming a priest. I often go around chasing different hobbies and interest, but I always come back to America's Parks. You have an amazing voice from your channel and make a difference in the world. This is definitely something I constantly think about how I will capture with videos I make.
Excited to see you are back!!! Great video!!! It’s beautiful up there. I understand why you would move there!!! Hope all is well for your and your family. Pray all goes well for you and your family with the move and your next chapter in life. Been following you for about 5 years now. To be honest, your videos helped me get through the pandemic years. I always look forward to watching your videos on the weekends. Always enjoy the videos with your family. Really a big reason why I watch is because our family is also into going to National and State parks. By your sign off, I hope you are not going to be ending making videos. You and your family are an inspiration and make a positive difference in peoples lives. Thank you for sharing your experiences and hope to see more of your content in the future. God bless!
I was there as a child on a family camping trip, perhaps 50 years ago. All I can remember of it is, well, just the camping. So good to see your video and see what I missed. Thanks.
Oh! A few home for you! Really hope you like the area. Based on this area, Michigan already has some nice places to explore. The color of the falls is quite something! We always called those “Root Beer” calls. We have a lot of falls that look like that here as well. So many boops there. Ha! Guess the root beer comment needed to be held back until later, as I see you say the same thing! I want to get up that way one day - in particular the whitefish area as I’ve also read good things about visiting there.
Hey buddy, hope you guys are doing well! Yeah, big changes with our transition to Michigan. Happy to be back with family and enjoying this beautiful state. Enjoy your travels and stay safe!
I love seeing the video of you with your daughters because it’s clear you have a beautiful relationship with them. I aspire to have the same with my own daughter. God bless you and your family.
You would not believe the effect your videos have on us! We started watching your videos in 2018 I think. You were below 10k subscribers. I've watched most of them. Your Theodore Roosevelt trip got us interested in going to that park in 2020 and 2023. I would never have even put it on a list. Thanks so much for doing these and I hope you keep doing them. We went to most of the places in this video last week of August and we even ate at the Best restaurant we have ever went to Goat Locker!
Randy, As always, my wife and I love to watch your videos. We are planning a trip to the U.P. in the summer of 2026. I like to title our road trips and this one will be called "You and Me in the U.P.". Please continue to post videos of this area AND my offer of you to stay with us if you are ever in Tucson, AZ still stands. God Bless.
Great to see another video from you, really been missing them! Hope you are settling into your new home. We did a big move this year as well to South Carolina. Not too far from the Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway, so looking forward to new adventures with the family!
Hey Andy, yes, learned about your move from the FB posts. Big transition for us. Hope you are setting in and adjusting to a new way of life. SC seems like a nice state - friendly people with conservative values.
Beautiful country. My wife and I just took our kids to the U.P. this summer. A little further west at Pictured Rocks. I was inspired to go there by your previous videos over the years.
Hey Randy, it's been a while! Congratulations on your move to Michigan! I feel like living out there is much better suited for you instead of congested New Jersey. I'm hoping to see more videos from Michigan since it's the state I barely explored. Awesome video, as always, Randy!
Glad to see y'all back! We lived in Manitou Beach on Devil's Lake in Michigan a few years ago. What a beautiful state... and beautiful wildlife as well. Halloween haunted houses in Michigan are better than anywhere else in the country. Enjoy!
Great to see you again. We’ve missed ur videos & hope you’re back at it again. Pray your new locale is a blessing. We full time Rv mostly & would love to come to the UP. Do you have a church there now that we could visit if we get up that way. Would love to visit and hear you preach. Blessings Jane & Mike🙏
Hello Mike and Jane, sure was blessed by your kind words! Haven't been on YT much and still seeking the Lord as it pertains to full time employment. As of now, we plan to commit to attending Harvest in Spring Lake, MI. Email me if you plan to visit the church - americasparks1@gmail.com
Beautiful! I have three sisters who want our entire family to travel to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (and Mackinac Island) for the Christmas holidays. I never really wanted to go until I saw your Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore videos for Michigan. This video makes me wish that I was already there! By the way, the next time you're in California, you should plan on visiting Burney Falls (at MacArthur-Burney Memorial State Park) and the various federal land along Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway (such as the three different stages -- upper, middle and lower -- of McCloud Falls). I live in Palo Alto; and, I'm able to go camping/hiking there at least once a year.
You wouldn't recall but ovet a year ago i suggested you check out s9me of Canada's beautiful provincial parks. Now that you live so much closer you can someday! Enjoy your new home and beautiful state!
Welcome back! It’s been awhile since I have seen a new video pop up. Wow, you moved to Michigan! That is some big news. Are you leading a new church or did you retire? Michigan is an awesome outdoor haven, so I am sure you will have no shortage of new adventures if that is your plan. I have a lot of family still residing in Michigan but don’t get a lot of opportunity to head up that way anymore. Great job on the video. What a nice little trip! Been to Tahquamenon Falls a long time ago. Beautiful spot.
Appreciate the kind and encouraging words, Michael! We're finally setting in after a June move. Really enjoying Michigan, it's my wife's home state and not far from where I grew up in Illinois. Still exploring/praying about future employment.
I’ve been a subscriber for some time and love the quality, narrative of your videos. I was wanting to find out what equipment you use in filming, I’ve looked at your other videos thinking it might be listed there. Anyway thanks for taking me places I’ll probably not get to! God bless you and your family in your new location!
Appreciate your kind words and apologize for the late reply. I basically use a camera (Lumix G9, but now my iPhone), GoPro, Insta 360 camera and drone (DJI Mini 2). May God bless you as well!
Good for you for getting out of Jersey! My favorite aunt (RIP) lived and had her practice in Staten Island so I've been to NJ several dozen times. You'll now actually have a big yard, parking, less crowds and crime, and lower taxes across the board. The one thing you'll miss is the food.

Welcome to Michigan.
There is so much in this state to explore.
Thank you... really happy to be here!
Hope the move went smoothly. Another well done video and was nice to have Kayla along .
Thanks David! It took a few months, but I believe we are finally settling in.

Thanks! Missed the fall colors this year, but now that we are living in MI, sure do hope to get some fall video up next fall.

What a treat to get a new adventure pop-up on my notifications. The greatest channel on UA-cam by a mile
