    This series made me cry! Excellent absolutely excellent!! I am a native to the Big Sky country and the way that you did this series grabbed the essence of the Treasure State. It saddens me to see what global warming and climate change has done to those majestic glaciers. The scenery of Glacier is absolutely unmatched!! I love the channel and have been a subscriber for several years. Thank you Randy for your incredible dedication to conservation and bringing these amazing parks to us thru your camera lenses!! BTW… what music did you go with in this series… is outstanding!!!

    I loved my stay at Glacier Park Lodge two summers ago. The rooms are rustic but the rest of the hotel is amazing as seen from your footage. One thing not shown is the huge fireplaces on every floor. The food was good there as well and yes that ice cream is amazing. Huckleberry anything is always good! The staff was really friendly as well. There are not a lot of options on the East side of the park to stay or eat, especially late in the season, so if you can afford it because rooms are not cheap, I would definitely stay here.

    Praising my Savior all the day long...
    Thanks once again for sharing your trips with us. We absolutely love Glacier, so this is a great video for us. We have found that the Two Medicine area is often less crowded and delightful. We have never been in September, but that is our plan for future trips--love seeing the extra color.
    God bless!

    What beautiful scenery! It is enjoyable to spend some time in creation all alone on a Sunday and letting your heart worship the Creator and enjoying what He has given us.

      Right on! So nice to reflect on His goodness as we frequently focus on what we don't have to the exclusion of the many gifts we often take for granted.

    So happy that you are getting to spend quality time in Glacier! I worked in the park during the summers of 1985-87. The place means so very much to me so it always concerned me that you haven't had a full experience of this park. I have made a weekly trip, or two each summer for 25 years. I still hike with a co-worker from 1985. My current obsession is hiking as many of the 734 miles of trails as a day hiker can hike. I am at 404 miles. I leave in 4 weeks for my next adventure. Rockwell Falls is a favorite location for my son and I. There is a climbing trail to the right that allows exploring the many levels of the falls.

    Missed that hike in 2018. Won't miss it next visit. To see creation and all its wonder, you can't deny God is in control and the perfection He made but we continue to destroy. Thanks for sharing video.

    Glacier is my favorite park and area. Also right west of it is the National Forest with good hikes to fire towers plus a visit to Polbridge Mercantile for a Bear Claw caps the trip.

    Randy can you make a video how you tent camp and hike the places on a budget? How you stock up on food prior to entering the park, what limited equipment you bring with you on the plane? What equipment you might pick up after you land to your destination? How you stay warm at night at these places?

    • @AmericasParks
      @AmericasParks  Місяць тому

      Glad to hear that! Actually, drones are illegal in all the US National Parks. I got those shots by using a 360 camera on a 10' selfie stick with a "fish eye" perspective. The stick "disappears" in the footage. If you look closely you might be able to see the handle in my right hand. Cool toy!
