- Our cover of @NoDoubt Just a Girl performed Nov 2023 at the Punk Rock Food Drive in Oceanside, CA. We were invited to join other punk rock bands like Bad Cop Bad Cop and Failing Up and helped raise 2500 pounds of food and $6780 for the North County Food Bank!

We are Flailing Idiot, a pop punk trio from North County San Diego. We are Sammie Augusto (13 years old) on vocals and guitar, Miya Schultheis (16 years old) on bass, and Cameron Trueblood (16 years old) on drums. We play a mix of originals and covers with a pop punk twist. You can listen to us on Spotify and all other streaming platforms. Follow us on Instagram for up to date videos and show announcements. What the vocalist/guitarist is doing is very hard..singing while playing that riff...while hitting that gwen's notes..

I would say that
Yeah I was immediately impressed. I heard the riff and thought "that's not like a super-straight forward riff to sing over while playing."
And then I heard her just nailing the vocals and thought "Those are not some super easy notes to hit while playing that riff"
@thisnameistaken she also plays key, drums, bass, and does musical theater and has solo music under Sammie Augusto 🤩
This video has singlehandedly restored my faith in the youth of this country.
