We did a forged high compression 392 short block, thitek heads, Johnson Lifters, 3/8 pushrods and a lot more other components. I’ll be running pump gas and corn 2 separate tunes. My car been since since July getting prepped. Alex has been breaking the new engine in. You gonna need your old mufflers with the cat delete. It may not be too bad since you have your resos still on. But he did my cat delete and I already had a muffler and reso delete and the car sound stupid with no mufflers I didn’t even want to drive it. It’s at the right place now Alex will take care of the ride
Did you realize Bmason...a great mopar tuner/channel works at Peitz Performance. You are lucky to be so close. You should have gone there from the start! You do realize u can fold your back seats down to put long stuff in there RIGHT?!?
if he did it didn't do me a bit of good, i paid alex p 750.00 to get rid of glowing red headers on my purple srt8 challenger 426 hemi he told me the problem was in the tune i paid him his money when i pick up my car drove it home about 40 miles away and guess what the headers are still glowing lol $750 down the drain .
Hey he is like the one of the best guys out there for LS and LT also. He worked on emilia Hartford corvette c8. He is now making and tuning custom c8 turbo kits
I recently added long tube headers with catless midpipes to my 392 with a mid muffler delete and the cold starts are brutal. I know you are not adding headers but it will most likely be just as loud for you with. I added my stock mufflers back to my car to hopefully tone it down, but it was waaaay too quiet it sounded the same way it did from the factory maybe just a tad bit louder but nonetheless it was way too quiet for my liking, so I removed the stock mid mufflers again. Now I start my car with the garage closed and then open the garage door. Besides the cold starts being really loud, the idle and warm starts are loud enough to let everyone know it is not stock, but it is definitely louder than a mid muffler delete only. Hope this helps.
Oh you'll be putting the stock mufflers back on trust me. Even a catless WRX is too loud with muffler deletes. You will be waking everyone up, lol. You should drive up there and just give them your mufflers to put back on while they have it.

Hqen2000 a good tune will definitely help in drivability. Next Friday looks like it’s going to be great weather for the track cooler temps should help keep iats down!
Have you considered doing like a Water/meth kit for octane? It's like $500+ and they have alot of safety features to avoid any problems.You could probably save over a fuel system and make more power

Mid muffler delete isn't all that bad. It's sounds good on cold start. I live in a condo complex and nobody has complained in 2 years, lol. It's the best $100 I spent.

My Supercharged Mustang GT gets 23.9 on the freeway. 4 Cyl mode is best on the vette they get over 35 mpg lol. As for that guys Corvette, for the thousand or two he saved it wasn't worth having all those stickers on his car.
As I get older fuel economy is getting more and more important to me I get it. But I think what they are saying is in your accord or pilot of tesla yes count every mpg you can. But a fire breathing V8 they don't give a f. Lol Same here all my cars the ones that are not performance or boosted I could care less but my dailys I care
I paid alex peitz $750.00 to get rid of glowing red headers he told me the problem was fixed drove the car home once it got dark i check out the headers where still glowing red so i paid 750.00 for nothing . i'm sure other folks have had good luck with this shop but i didn't, my car has a 426 stroker motor so maybe the tuning must be more difficult idn.

@hqen2000 Be mindful my friend that Alex has a brutal dyno. It’s the heartbreaker LOL. It’s gonna read true, solid numbers. It does read low but Alex ain’t the type to sell you on some bullshit power numbers like all these other shops. It’s hard for a Hellcat to make 600rwhp

Off Road mid pipes don't remove the mid-mufflers / resonators...just the cats. Didn't really make my car any louder.

My best in my Hellcat was 23mpg on the highway on the way to FL.
My Hellcat gets 24mpg on the Highway, My Scat pack got 25.5mpg on the highway.
I use the same gas. It's $2.89 now. Usually no higher than $2.99. Occasionally it may get to $3.09.

lol yeah I remember my 04 Z06 would always get well in the 30s on the freeway. Vettes are the priuses of fast cars it seems.
