Don't mean to be picky but you missed showing the replacement of the black spacer block before putting on the new gasket between the cylinder and the carb. Love your videos.

@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 you had it on there just didn't show it going on unless somehow I missed it twice. I have had customers that tried to do it themselves and switched the location of the spacer and the gasket.

That genuine stuff has to be outrageous. A quick rebuild would sure be cost effective unless you decided to go with aftermarket. Is this correct?

Hello there! I have a TB685ec 4 cycle that runs good but dies after a minute or two. it'll start right back up. I've replaced gas cap, fuel lines and primer bulb, also adjuted valve lash on 0.005" and still doing the same. Any clues?

Help! Hi was wondering if you had any insight on a problem I have. I had to change the carburetor because the mower would only work on choke and would die on HI or LO positions. I didn't change anything else. When I pull the lever out of choke down to the Hi position the rpm is pretty much the same but when I put it on the LO position there is no change in engine speed which seems to be ok for the Hi position not certain. The motor is GVX120 4.4HP 1 cylinder Honda HR214 SX lawnmower.
The governor arm is free to move if I push on it revs faster. There are no restrictions either on the idle arm where the 2 governor rods attach on the carb.
Any Idea? Ever encountered this problem? Thanks
Need to double check carb install Make sure all the rods, springs, holes all went back correctly.
@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 everything is installed correctly. Very easy to do. Would adjusting the mixture and the stop screw affect the difference between the LO and HI?
