on the h1 u got to hold the brake pedal down & give it slight throttle & that turns on the dif lock on the front & rear difs.. I was a hummer mechanic for 6 yrs & got to really off road them at the hummer training course in South Bend IN.. they really are amazing machines..

I have the 2017 Nissan Gas 4x4 quad cab Titan and love it, I will say it is fast as well, great for passing, had that over 105MPH on more than a couple occasions and you don't hear or feel it like some of my older trucks. I definitely love the room and design, takes a big for the styling but still like it. And everyone can keep their H1's I personally hate them as I don't fit very well being 6'1 and Army.

I daily drive a 2004 Nissan Titan, I live in Maine and it’s 2WD it’s brutal to drive in the snow.... because of its massive engine! This truck pulls , can’t imagine what the 2017 5.6 V8 with an additional 80 horsepower feels like. You don’t know until you drive one.
The Nissan 5.6 V8 is an absolutely outstanding motor. We have an armada with one with 153 thousand miles and it’s never had a single issue at all. Not to mention it’s pretty quick. Surely left me satisfied
titans have always been super under rated. that 5.6 v8 has some serious balls. Id love to see them put some boost on a gasser Titan!

The H1 I drove while stationed in Korea almost 30 years ago was a non-turbo diesel. It topped out at like 60mph. A turbo on it would have been the ticket. It was fun to drive, though. It went anywhere, so long as you could fit width-wise. Newbies almost always ripped the right mirror off, or damaged it. You don't realize how wide this thing is until you drive it in city traffic.
Cleetus, Ram EcoDiesel has my interest. 420 ft lb, 240 hp, and 20/29 city/hwy MPG. Should try one out and let us know what you think!

Has a perfectly fine Nissan truck, replaces the good suspension with rough country junk 😂😂, that thing is gonna have so many warranty repairs on the suspension.

I have a 2018 gas Titan, I love it. If it wasn't so heavy (the non XD), it would murder the other gas trucks on the market. I was on the fence about the two (gas/diesel), but the diesel upfront cost, cost of ownership and maintenance just really make the Truck a bad buy for someone like me. Diesel is the way to go, for someone that is going to put a crap load of miles on a truck with long run times. I mostly do 30 min or less drives. It uses the cheap gas, rides like a caddy on the highway, you just have to keep and eye on the speedo, the truck will scoot its way to 80+ quickly and not even feel like it.

I’m a big fan of the Titans myself. I keep it Merica, but I’ve owned a Titan and plan on owning a new one. I prefer gasers although. The only thing I’m not approving of with the new ones is the discontinuation of the floor shift. ( they only come column shit now). And as a vet of the Marine Corp, I can attest to the awesomeness of that damn H1! They are BRUTES!!
