Fun Tip : You can use a blazer torch to repair/hide scratches in plastic .. if you have scratches/gouges/imperfections in your car/truck interior , a quick pass or two with the torch will cover them right up ! 😇❤
I like that. When I have known electrical maintenance to do at work I pack around my electric yihua.. and run an extension cord at the house. It's a GREAT iron esoecially for electrical projects but portable it is not. I've also been considering one kf the little deals made from a vapour style unit that's usb rechargeable. bout the same 30-40 bucks.
Hi Dale! It puts out a lot of heat, enough to melt solder that's cooled and hardened, but I don't know if it has a high enough volume of heat to loosen something like that without a lot of time. Something more like a Bernz-o-Matic torch would probably work better for you on an application like that. 👍
And when I say "torch" I mean something like this: www.bernzomatic.com/Products/Hand-Torches/Instant-On-Off/TS4000ZKC You might spend more, but it'll do the job much better.
Your English is great, no need to apologize 🙂 I don't have much experience with vinyl or car wrapping, but if you need some heat in a small spot, this would probably help. It doesn't cover a large area at one time, but a smaller area. I hope this helps you with your decision! 👍
Hi there! It does. I'm not saying I've used it a ton of times, but I did grab it just the other day and use it for a torch as well as a soldering iron. It had been sitting a long time and fired up and did its job with no issues.
No, dude or dudette! Here! Berkling BSG-568 3-IN-1 Cordless Butane Gas Soldering Iron, Heat Gun Blower, Mini Torch - Self-Ignite, Instant Start, Rechargeable, Light Weight, Portable, Adjustable Flame Control, Up to 90 Mins a.co/d/5zV0SSQ I'm seeing $35 ish? It works well but keep it warm in the winter or the gas doesn't evaporate well to burn.

That's interesting... I'll have to look into that type!
Does that torch put out enough heat to loosen a tie rod nut, or would you recommend getting a propane torch for that?
