Cinderella a twist in time reaction
#cinderella3
Hey y’all ... which Cinderella movie is the best to you? I’m just gonna say this one 🤪
Thanks for watching 🥰
This was a favorite of mine. And the best part is that Anastasia reformed by the end of the movie and got to be with her true love from the first sequel, the Baker.
Review the sound of music
Oh she has a love interest wow
Cinderella 3 will always be the best!!
What is NVP?
Okay but the scene where the prince just JUMPS OFF A WINDOW is better than his whole screentime on the first movie
Exactly, I never seen it but I know for a fact he wasn’t giving what he gave in this film lol
lol btw hi Lakia
It even became a meme
Not y'all dragging the first Cinderella expecting her to do more when she was in an abusive household and a time where it was even harder to leave 🙄
EXACTLY. I'm waiting for there to be a Cinderella adaptation where her father is still alive and we get to see that he's not a bad dad, but he was abused and manipulated like she was.
Exactly. And like, she did stand up for herself when she told them the news about the ball.
@@jandm4ever716 also when she did have something good to wear to the ball, her stepfamily assaulted her
@Optional Sorcerer I guess the closest thing would be the stage version of Into The Woods, where the narrator kind of plays the part of her father and it’s shown that he’s not really available for her, but other than that I can’t think of anything. That sounds like a really good idea though!
Not dragging her but the first cinderella is criminally boring
Cinderella deserved every good thing that happened to her. She worked hard and she didn’t even wanted to be a princess, she just wanted to go to the ball.
She deserved going to that ball!!! I love Cinderella
Fr
"Asking someone to marry you right after you met her is creepy" Yeah, but he's a prince....he's rich....I'm broke....
ME!!!!
Plus a well mannered man. Like, please take me
And it was either choosing a wife at the ball or going into an arranged marriage
This movie skyrocketed the Prince and Anastasia's likeability for me. This movie didn't have to go as hard as it did with the character development and exploration of relationships, but it did and I adore it.
"If you're gonna steal the main characters role at least know what you're doing." Ursula from The Little Mermaid knows what's up
and her plan would’ve worked but timing, Scuttle and Max foiled it
Also, the stepmother at 2:08 literally said "pathetic" JUST like Ursula! 😂
There’s no reason this should be as compelling as it is being a direct to DVD Disney cashgrab sequel… and yet it’s arguably the best of the Cinderella Trilogy and I really don’t know why they went all out for this yet I’m glad they did. 😂
I love part 1 the most, but this is the only worthy straight-to-Disney sequel to me.
@@OpticalSorcerer
not bambi 2, 101 dalmatians 2, lady & the tramp 2...? those are all better than this cinderella movie lol
@indiesunflowers no way you included Lady and the Tramp 2
Not even Lion King 2? Lion King 2 is not as good as the first one but still really good @@OpticalSorcerer
@@CarlosThadeu I'm not a fan of animal-centric movies, so TLK in general was a "no" for me. (Except Zootopia since they were human-like.)
Hands down were the best Cinderella movie. The soundtrack was good, the drama, the improvement from Anastasia and the Prince's personality
I love your Shoko Nishimiya profile pic!
The price jumping out the window🤣
Still have a soft sport for the original tho 🥺💖
Cinderella herself was pretty cool too.
It's kinda funny that Cinderella just wanted a night out to have fun and a guy asked her to dance who she became infatuated with who ALSO just happened to be the prince.
The details of the slipper and how feet are shaped, how non flexible her slippers were (glass) to give a perfect fit was is also unique.
Just sayin, it is kinda wild.
Let’s appreciate the fact that all Anastasias in Disney movies are kinda cool
Which Anastasia? 😂
Anastasia #1: stepsister
Anastasia #2: the grand duchess Anastasia
Anastasia #3: grandmeme it’s me Anastasia 😂🤣🤦🏼♀️
Fun fact, the castle at the beginning of all the Disney movies is actually Sleeping Beauty's. ☺️
Oh okay I thought it was Cinderella’s
@@LakiaJaiTV I did a paper on the impact of Disney in American Culture and Iconography my freshman year of college. That's when I found out it was actually Sleeping Beauty's. Almost everyone thinks it's Cinderella's, though, so you're not alone. ☺️
Love your channel, btw. Found your Coraline video a few months ago, and I subscribed immediately!
@@LakiaJaiTV personnaly I miss the white one with blue background

@@itsflorence5529 I want to see it again 😭
The 1st movie made me love Cinderella, the second made me love Anastasia, and the third made me love Drizella. Anyone who says they didn't love Cinderella until this film because she was "weak" in the first one is a fake fan to me, though this does deserve a live-action remake. And can we appreciate that the voice actor for the prince is the voice actor for Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid and Anastasia's voice actress also plays Daisy Duck in current Disney media?
I was eating string cheese when you said people who eat it need therapy.
sameee 😭i was alittle hurt
There is some conclusion to Anastasia's arc in Cinderella II, but I honestly have no idea how it works in the timeline. But you can see a reference to it in an image during the End Credits for this one (16:55).
It happens after the date in this one. Not sure how long after but it definitely happens after this movie's opening scene. After all, Anastasia meets the baker when they are walking in the town, Lady Tremaine talking about suitors or sum and Cinderella is already married. My theory is the thing that changed everything is her noticing/following Cindy and the prince.
The timeline makes more sense if you watch the first movie, then third, then second.
9:14 It's because he can sense that he doesn't feel anything as if she's not the person he's meant to marry
Yes his father said he knew his future wife is the one when he touched her hand.
This movie is superior, but the first Cinderella is just amazing, and soooo underrated because y'know, Cinderella is "dumb and submissive"
"Are you saying yes?"
Well is he a prince? because if so...
Defintely one of the better Disney Sequels
That was a favorite of mine. It's a shame it is not considered canon amongst other media, like Descendants or Once Upon a Time, or simply in Disney itself.
Agreed that Drizella should have done the wedding switcheroo after Anastasia failed.
I think the initial plan was Anastasia marries the prince so Lady Tremaine and Drizella can mooch off of her without having to deal with her, but Drizella is by far the more competent of the sisters.
Though, on thinking about it, maybe Lady Tremaine feared Anastasia might try to screw her sister over through jealousy that she didn't get the prince. We as the audience see Anastasia starting to get cold feet, but her mother spent years watching her spoiled daughters snipe at each other.
Fun color theory! Green evokes greed, envy and cunning, three pretty big staples of villains, which is why so many have green incorporated into their visualization 😁😊
This is insane. Literally ONLY TODAY I was watching some clips of this movie, then this reaction comes out lol
Do you understand how internet cookies work? They track your interests😂😂😂
@@polivepea no I saw it on my subscriptions. There was no need for sass
Charming is the perfect example of a grass fed cage free bonafide himbo
Loved this movie, but I love the original one too. People are so quick to dismiss it just because they think she is saved by man, but that is such a stupid thing to dismiss a movie by. She was abused for a long time, she actually can be sarcastic at times, stands up for herself when her sister tease her about going to the ball, and she didn’t even go to the ball for the prince, she went to have some fun and freedom. I wish people didn’t act like all women have to be this kick butt warrior single lady to be a good roll model. Cinderella was kind even through the bad times, and that kindness towards her mouse friends saved her in the end. Her kindness. I wish more people would see the beauty of this. I personally feel more connected to Cinderella than to a more “feminist” charcuterie like Mulan.
Like, this movie makes every character better.
Anastasia now is one of my favourite characters, and she has such a great development in this movie; the prince now has personality, and it's so iconic; Cinderella turned into a girl boss, that fight for her dreams, opposing his stepmother; the king is like...THE BEST, just THE BEST.
I think we can all agree charming jumping out the window is the most epic hilarious thing ever 😂
i LOVED this movie as a kid
Same
"Look at how evil she is. 'Turn her into a toad', 'beat her with a stick.'"🤣
My favorite and literally just because if the prince like I didn’t vibe with the first one growing up but this is goood
Anastasia’s character development makes me happy as hell for her. Let me add that Prince Charming here was kinda funny and iconic especially when he jumped out of the window😭 (he had personality which makes me love him). Cinderella deserves happiness cause she lived in an abusive household and all she wanted was to go to a ball. Like girlie just wanted to party💀 and ended up with a Royal Prince and royal status. Also I might👀 marry the guy if he’s good looking, rich, and had a nice personality (knowing how he would be with me during the club). Just maybe yk🤷🏻♀️💀.

This movie is actually really good but insane!! I love Disney movies so much, I'll be 80 still wearing Disney shirts!
So glad to see this commentary, yesss Lakia !! I love her commentaries
Thank you 😊
Meet the Robinsons💙 one of my favorite Disney movies
How did no one else notice that Anastasia wasn't the girl at the ball? Like, the prince was brainwashed, but what about everyone else?
They all probably just took his word for it
If it’s possible I really recommend watching titanic or Tangled!
Yesss you are reacting to this movie!! I love it and it’s an underrated gem
I like Drizella the step sister with the green dress. She was a bit savage in this movie.
After seen the second film, I didn't like her attitude in this one because of her look after Anastasie's rebellion
@@a.g.demada5263 - *Anastasia
@@rebeccamichael626 it's her name in the french version
I enjoy the first movie not because she is saved by a man but because she wins by being a kind and caring person and choosing to be optimistic rather than vengeful
I’m not going to lie, I’ve been waiting for you to react to this movie.
In Ever After Jacqueline, who is more like Anastasia, is actually very nice and not an evil stepsister. And by far the best Cinderella film
Yep
OMG YES!!! 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
This movie was often on repeat as a kid and it’s clearly one of the best Disney sequels!!! Also to answer some of your questions: Cinderella is a size four and yeah! The color green is suppose to signify as envy. ❤️❤️❤️
YAY! Omg, NOBODY reacts to this!
A dream come true, thank you.
"A stick, let's beat her with it!" - This movie is so funny, I can't
5:12 "✨Try Decency✨"- Lakia Jai, 2021.
i love this movie so much, he's the best of the trilogy, in my opinion. I was really searching for people watching it, you're maybe the first one i saw, and i'm happy for it :)
I always loved Cinderella 3 and sometimes think it's the best one. I'm so glad you got to watch it!
nobody:
the prince: YEET OUT THE WINDOW
Anastasia never had a real father figure in her life and I think that's what pushed her to do what she did in the end because she felt what real caring was like. Her mother had ambition and greed and would've used her to get anything she wanted. Her sister was just the same. I like that Anastasia is eminently redeemable because it shows her as human. The king being kind to her and treating her like a daughter, being the object of a prince's (albeit exasperated) affections. Anastasia wanted to be loved. The first movie she was seen as one dimensional because it was Cinderella seeing them from her position as oppressed servant girl. But both numbers two and this one show her as flawed but with a good heart that just was buried and suppressed under the tutelage of a greedy, ambitious, cruel mother who never showed her how to be a good person.
Yes, and according to Internet, she's the youngest daughter so that explain why she's more the one who follows the move.
Also, she's inspired of the youngest stepsister of the original tale who's described as nicer
Evil step mother: i call upon all the - sum sum - of the univers bibity bobity boo
Me: malificent is that u-
The original voice for Lady Tremaine did also voice Maleficent, so...
*Universe
I liked the second one and third one. The second one showed us her transition into royal life and how hard it was for her her adapt to while we got to see a different side of Anastasia. We also got to see more of the life of the prince because in the first movie he was just seen as the prince basically who fell in love with Cinderella and put a shoe on her.
I have NOT watched this in YEARS
Same... well until this video 😊
Also I had recently watched your star wars reaction videos and you were just super adorable 😁
the third cinderella is the best of all of the three it’s been my favorite since I was a kid
The story “kinda” works in modern times (see the three Cinderella story movies w Selena, Hilary, and miss Lucy hale) but they usually give them a mascaraed mask to explain why he doesn’t recognize her. Those 3 movies will always have my heart more than the OG Cinderella 😂
I’ve seen the ones with Selena and Hillary but not Lucy Hale
"this whole story wouldn't have happened if she knew how to have a stronger grip on her wine-d." I know she mean wand but after all the crap Fairy godmother put cindy and her self through she might need that wine
Wait.. THERE WAS MOEE THAN 1 CINDERELLA MOVIE HUH HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS
Love this movie! It's an underrated gem. You should watch the Prince of Egypt at some point, it's another hidden masterpiece!
So...I saw Seamus Gormans video about this and since then I've been calling this movie Cinderella: Endgame.
The thing about anastasia is that, she didnt start to get "sympathetic" in this one, cinderella 2, although really mid or sometimes bad, has her starting to get a redemption arc that is finished in this movie. Also, 3:27 , ofc the VA is good, it's the same as Maleficent, another amazing disney villainess
one thing many not realise abt the prince is that in the first film was that he was clearly uninterested in the ball n finding a bride but then he notices cinderella n how shes absolutely captivated by the scenery around her n henry (the prince) appreciates that! cinderella didnt go out to the ball to impress him shes just there to have a good time! so they waltz n talk for assumedly hours but she has to leave now that its midnight,,,, now henry is determined to find this SPECIFIC girl who fit the slipper so he tells the duke abt her who then tells the king but all the king hears is “blah blah girl fit slipper blah blah marriage” it was the kings idea to have every maiden try on the glass slipper to see if it would fit! the king just wanted his son to marry some random maiden from the village to have it over w but henry isnt keen on this n they even reference this idea in the 3rd film the moment he walks in he instantly recognises that anastasia isnt the girl he danced w,,,, surely there must be some mistake? its not rlly talked abt bc theres so many misconceptions abt disneys cinderella n henry may not be the most recogisable or iconic prince in the disney princess lineup hes still pretty remarkable in his own way
Watch the first and second they really good. And show Anastasia's growth.
I think the king said "breeding" I could be wrong but considering the times I don't think I am 😂
The most fearful villains are the ones that could actually exist in real life and in a way sort of do.
This is the best one in the trilogy. Why? Because Cinderella actually has motives and wants in this one. She's not a wooden character. She actually did something in the face of Evil and didn't just wait around to be saved like some damsel in distress. Also, it's much more magical that the first 2
I don’t think you were paying attention in the first one if you think she was a wooden damsel in distress waiting to be saved, that’s completely at odds with her character in the actual movie.
@@Longshanks1690 she was pretty wooden in the first one actually. There was only one instance when she showed drive: When she pulled out the slipper. And that's it. That's the only scene where she actually does something about her unjust situation.
@@Longshanks1690 the mice were more compelling than she was. She was a secondary character in her own story in the first one infact.
@@Skinniest_Kween How was she was waiting for somebody to save her? She literally didn’t ask for any of this. Where did you expect her to go anyway she doesn’t have any close relatives other than her step-family and they’re abusive. I seriously don’t know what you guys want from her!
@@Skinniest_Kweenwhy don’t you go and watch the 2021 prime version of Cinderella or is she too woke for you?
I’d definitely say Prince Charming in this movie, is up there with naveen, Flynn, and dimitri! He risked his life at least twice by being 100ft in the air form jumping out the window and flying over the boat to get to Cinderella! And he’s just an extremely nice dude
I know everyone's talking about Prince Charming's character development and everything, but can I just like to say how much I loved his eyelashes in this movie? 😂🥰
I'm a guy, who watched a lot of Disney princess movies as a kid. This was my favorite one. Its literally peak.
Glass slippers would need to be fitted precisely to someones foot.
Its not just about length and width with a high heeled glass shoe. There is not break in period.
Of course you wouldnt marry someone after a day....unless it was your true love and you were in a fairy tale.
That's oart of the fantasy. Finding your other half and knowing they were meant for you. No risk of anyone changing their mind or getting bored.
Let's be honest, if we met a real life "perfect prince" we'd consider saying yes and hear the wedding bells 🤣 but with a decent guy we'd need more time together 🤭
I wish Disney will make this movie into live action but don't change the story, this movie is too underrated
They could because the love action cinderella was awesome so they could probably pull off a sequel with elements of both of the original cinderella animated sequels
"II FORBID YOU TO TAKE ANOTHER STEP DOWN THESE STAIRS!"
.....okay. *YEET*
Technically, he obeyed him 😂😂 I love the sound when he jumps
I loved this movie as a kid so much more than the original. This and Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella with Brandy
I like this prince charming because he actually has a personality
You are my favorite youtuber! Love these videos!
Thank you 🥰
This isn't the first time Anastasia was given a little bit of love, you should watch the second movie
Only part of the way through but if Erwin 'dilf' smith proposed after meeting me once ..... I would say yes hahhahah
You know what... that’s a different story lol Erwin & Levi would get a yes
I read somewhere Cinderella has a size 4 foot …she could shop in the child section
The idea to find the missing the girl with her shoe size is actually smart tbh. He made do with the only clue he had and It would reduce his demography search. Since he remember what she looks he could easily find her once they're all there
In the second Cinderella movie Anastasia falls in love with a baker.
Girllll yasss, I totally agree with you, out of all the Cinderella movies this was best one hands down ‼️ like this movie has more details, more info then the others one even though I only seen the first one & it’s most definitely boring compare to this one, & the songs in this one are a bop!
I love all Cinderella movies but I feel like you should also watch the Brandy Version of Cinderella and Whitney Houston’s fairy godmother I think you’d be surprised
This is arguably one of the best Disney princess movies and I stand on that
You should watch “Ever After” it’s another Cinderella story
When you go back into time: A Time Heist!
*Cue Seamus Gorman singing the Avengers Theme*
Omg pitch perfect at the beginning 😂😂. You should react to the first Cinderella, I'm not a fan of the 2nd movie.
Did u know if Anastasia didn’t find the wand she would of had a happy ending this is a alternate ending her original ending is in Cinderella 2
The 2nd one Anastasia actually fell in love with a baker... I guess it didn't work out :/
This goes down as at least top 3 Disney Princess movies of all time, there’s just something about it that gives it that “I’ve never seen this before” but I have feeling. It’s so magical I swear😭❤️
It feels like Lady Tremaine has some witchcraft experience because the way she recited that lil spell ATE
I think the King saw Anastasia as a daughter figure, and wanted her to learn a lesson that he had.
always extremely loved that the cats name was Lucifer.
im not even gonna lie, i had no idea their was 3 cinderella movies. my mind is actually blown lmao
AMAZING ♥️♥️♥️
This has to be the corrected timeline bc the prince's eyebrows match his hair this time.
Oh my word I just LOVE you lol watch all your videos on repeat ❤️ ( also not you coming for my mans Dimitri 😂😂) Id love to see your reaction to little mermaid 2 ( return to the sea ) that is just my childhood 😭
I like how in the first movie the king wants his son to marry someone so he can have grandkids but it the third one he question why his son wants to marry 😂
Can I say Ever After is my favorite Cinderella movie? In that, her sister Jacqueline is actually nice, and not mean like most stories depict.
Same
I absolutely recommend watching the first Cinderella, too.
Could you watch A Silent Voice? It's an anime on Netflix that I cry every time I watch it.
Literally if I would of seen this request 2 weeks ago I would have... but I just watched it🥺
Oh that's to bad, but the real questions are did you enjoy it and how many tears were shed?
I did enjoy it when I wasn’t screaming at Shoya for bullying ol’ girl when he was young.. but it was a brilliant and beautiful story. I didn’t cry though. I was closer to crying when watching Your Name for some reason.
Yesssss im so happy that youre reacting to thiss im tired of people dismissing this movie because they picture Cinderella as a weak character ughh
Green IS the color used to represent evil usually by villains, especially in the Disney Universe, and if I remember correctly, Cinderella is a size 4 to 4.5 in her shoe size, I believe 4.5, from what I heard somewhere, I think during the sword fighting scene between the prince and his father the king in this movie 💚
