A separate dry output for this is really helpful, so long as you have something to mix them back together later or two amps or whatever. The Behringer BSY600 (a clone of the BOSS SYB-5) has two outputs (wet and dry) as well as an EXP jack. Some good sounds in it, some very ugly sounds in it, tracks badly and if you feed it a drum machine it goes nuts! My personal favourite experiment involved putting in chords, letting the monophonic BSY600 try and pick a note out, and sending the dry signal to the EHX Attack/decay with a long attack of for a swelling chord into a big delay.
I've recently got a monophonic Subdecay Pixelwave pedal and I was thinking a similar thought, but to have a guitar with 3x seperate 2-pole cigar box pickups each going to a seperate output & then to it's own monophonic synth pedal, before being re- combined by an EHX tri-parallel mixer.
i forgot to thank you for the tips you're giving all the time. i started to approach pedals from your perspective, pushing them to the limit and finding glitches and the first pedal i tried it with was attack/decay. it blew my socks off. i managed to get many different pedals out of it. all types of swell and pluck, tremolo, bit crusher, different fuzzes and god knows what. what's great about the pedal is that it gives you 3 preset bank + the setup you dial on the physical knobs. and no bloody digital display, thank god. you really taught me how to explore. thank you!

Great video! The attack decay is the most underrated pedal out there in my opinion. My secret sauce is using a delay in the fx Loop, set to totally oscillate with feedback - tame it with the blend and decay knob. Also try a pitch shifter or arpegiator into a fully wet reverb back into the return
I’m a huge fan of making your guitar sound like another instrument! I tend to use a wammy pedal with some octave. Thank you for this awesome video! Gained a sub with this one
My favorite thing I’ve done with my rig was setting up a wet and dry rig. Then I got curious and added fuzz to my wet amp so now I’ve been playing with parallel fuzz tones. Both are pretty maxed out in gain and noise level so it’s a mega punch of distortion coming through.

The Attacks Decay is a total sleeper, one of my favorite ones, bonus on the send / receive.

You can slap wah after reverb whenever you wanted the audience to turn their head.
You can also slap distortion after synth
Pad into tremolo is genius. Can't believe I didn't think of it. Thank you.
Sometimes I feed a pad into a phaser then send it to a ping pong delay, trippy af, but the heavy tremolo gives it rhythm, I am doing that today.

Using multiple synth pedals in a couple parallel chains would probably be really cool. Basically makes your guitar into a two oscillator synth.
yes that would be bananas. but it's worth noting that the C4 synth can already do this by itself, with the multiple-voices feature.
